Sandy Lum Beach Resort — Local services in Nasugbu

Place had the potential to be a 5 star. The people managing it are ruining it. Tried reserving many times last Wednesday tot thursday, no one answered the phone. Messaged their Facebook page but no luck. No choice but to go there and walk in there on friday, they wouldn't let us use their big Kubo's saying it is reserved and the people would come in early, we even insisted that we can transfer to the open cottages during the early morning, but they insisted for us to sleep on those open unsecured cottages. Been here for the 3rd time yet their food is overpriced and does not taste good at all. No improvement, I recommend buying from the town nearby, there is a small grocery and a palengke at the end of the street, best to buy there and cook than eating at their carenderia. Overpriced accomodation, their big kubo cost without foam and electric fan while barracuda has 6k rooms with Aircon and 3 double decker beds and a very good bathroom, only problem with barracuda is the parking, but with sandy Lum...

The place is great if you are looking for beaches with few people. Entrance fee is around PHP 200.00, cottages are PHP 3,000.00 that is good for 10 person; the entrance fee is included in the cottage fee.

The beach is not that clean as you may find plastic wrappers floating in the sea or on the beach. A care taker is cleaning the beach from time to time but that is not enough. I just hope that us Filipinos would someday realize that the place would have been better if we only knew how to throw our trashes in the right place.

My 2nd beach camping there was a disaster, I was not able to sleep because the guests are having their loud speakers until 11pm. Then they did not bother to talk loud from 11pm to 4am. Then they made loud music again at 430am. The management did not even bother to control them. Then the loud music did not stop the whole day. My check out time was 12nn and I immediately packed my things and checked out at 1130 am. The cheap entrance comes with a price....
