GT Lodge-Oslob — Hotel in Oslob

The staff were the friendliest and most helpful. We were allowed to check in earlier when we arrived.. we had a nice breakfast while waiting for the room to be prepared. The staff help with providing information and options about different tours and activities to do in OSLOB or around. They arranged the motorcycle rental for us and we were brought the motorbikes at the hotel. As it was a rainy season, they also called the trycicle to pick us up. The hotel is just located by the sea so you can get in any time and enjoy the view of the sea while eating at the restaurant or just having a cup of coffee. The room was equipped with a fan and an AC and TV. But isn't sound proof.. We came for one night and ended up staying 3 nights as we found out that whale shark watching was NOT the only thing to do in OSLOB. We rode the rented bikes to Tumalog waterfalls which was the most magic place I've ever seen and went to Inambakan falls on the next day which is an amazing place to see too but farther, the roads to both places are newly paved (which isn't the case of the national "highway").The staff at the hotel also helped to take our laundry to the laundry mat in another location and collected it as well.Breakfast was really nice.The only cons are being unable to sleep the whole night due to a dog barking and crying behind our room (and others on the street) and not having cleaned towels even after requesting to clean the room on the third day.. Thus the room was cleaned but they just put the same towels in hangers. Other than that, we are very thankful and will definitely come back and...

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea, and conveniently close to a 7-Eleven.The room is spacious but has a musty smell. There are no toiletries provided, and the door lock doesn’t feel very secure.The most disappointing part of our stay—and something I strongly advise everyone against—is booking a tour through the hotel. Before purchasing, we specifically asked if the tour included equipment, lunch, and entrance fees, and the hotel assured us that everything was covered. Okay for a lodge,big room airconditioner not so cold but ceiling fan is available,big beds,cable television, there’s something in water a white substance but will evaporate,no glass available in the room, no refrigerator,I will not recommended to use cheap towels,staff are very accommodating,location is near public market,restaurant is not an issue because there a lot of restaurants available especially at night and one more thing 7 eleven is just walking distance,about 15 kilometers to the whale Shark Watching,ao for those on an budget this...
