Worst and most expensive hotel that we stayed in Cebu. We stayed in the city and south cebu for 4 nights. Couldn't believe the most good looking one is the worst. Management, base sa bad reviews, anong petsa na? di pa rin kayo nag-iimprove! 1.5/5 SERVICE Staff, are you even Filipinos? They weren't hospitable. The only one who accommodate and told us to used the facilities was the Lady Security Guard. The one who served our food was new and they didn't help him with our problem. Palakasan siguro sa kanila. FYI, they won't let you pack your breakfast. They will let you sign a Protocol/Contract shiz to tell you that you agree on their effin "Hostel rules". (Yeah, it isn't a Hotel cause it doesn't pass the "Hotel standards".) 1/5 ROOM The lobby's interior is nice. But the dining area are full of flies. The supervisor said its "Fly season", our banana shake that was not even drank in half had a fly who happily swam on it. Room layout is pretty bad. It will not pass the standards of Philipine Interior Design code. Especially the bathroom, oh my sweet jesus, I felt like I'm gonna fall off the water-closet because the floor was raise adjacent to it. They don't have a guest kit! They will not give you water(a pitcher) if you don't ask for it. 0/5 FOOD Food is so effin SALTY! You have to walk for 5-7 minutes to get to their restaurant in the main road to have a bit decent meal. Note, their fried chicken is too salty also. There are a lot of flies in the dining area. If you complain, you won't hear the word "SORRY" from them. 3-5 stars are FAKE REVIEWS! [Photo taken is where we ate and got the fly and a swimming fly in my banana shake]

Do not book this place! We booked two standard rooms for one night and both rooms were dirty with dust and dirt. The bed linens were too thin and they didn't even provide towels and pillowcases. The pillows looked like they haven't been washed. They also offered one very thin blanket for each room (see photo) and there were two people in each room. The AC at room 201 doesn't work. We had to suggest to the receptionist that they should provide us an electric fan. We had to carry the electric fan from downstairs to the room. The CR/toilet door at room 203 is damaged and you can't lock it from the inside. Poor water pressure. No trash bins in the trash basket. Poor ventilation. They offered free breakfast and it consisted of rice, one sunny side up egg, and one lonely piece of ham. They could haven't offered it (for the price) and just made sure that they rooms were clean and comfortable. We are never coming back again. We also ended up with the flu after staying here overnight. Chances are we got the virus from one of their dirty beds, pillows, and linens.

Can stay here for just 1000 peso per night which includes a free breakfast. Very nice staff, nice location and nice food. The rooms are all air conditioned and have double beds. There was only one issue when I stayed and that was the noise as the hotel was undergoing renovation but this was only during the day. The hotel has 5 stories so it offers a very nice view of Oslob

We stayed at Hotel Sebastian in Oslob Cebu during the New Year season this year with family and friends. I originally booked a deluxe seaview room but upon check in, we saw that the airconditioning unit was not working properly. Even if the temperature is maxed out, it is still too hot even after half an hour that it has been turned on. So, we reported back to the front desk and they had it tested. I negotiated that we cannot sleep there for two nights especially I have with me my 10 year old son. It would be too hot. So, they transferred us to a bigger room with a seaview. They said it's the room where the owner also stays whenever the owner is there so we assume that it should be better than our original room. The room is bigger with a good bed. Airconditioning unit is finally working properly (we noticed that the AC is new). But the toilet really is so old and there is no heater! And the water supply is really so limited. I had to go down twice in the reception area to report that there is no water coming out from the faucets and showerhead. But we still stayed in the room however on our second night, we came back after lunch to realize that the lights are not working in the room. I reported back to the front desk to have it checked and they mentioned that indeed, all of the lights in our room are malfunctioned and they have the electrician coming the following day. But we were already checking out the next day. Since it is our last night, we have just requested for a chargeable lamp. They have provided some emergency light. So, we accepted another discomfort. The management should do something about the quality of the rooms there. They should maintain it properly and make sure that everything is working especially they also charge almost same rates as those in Cebu proper. The manager should also be more efficient and client -oriented to the guests. But those in the front desk, housekeeping and dining/kitchen are all ok. They were responsive to our needs and quick with their actions so we really appreciate...

First let me say the staff was always friendly and helpful. It’s close to the whale sharks and has a tiny friendly town. That’s where the pleasure stops||||The WiFi only works in the lobby, when it does and very slow. ||||The rooms are quite simply terrible. The toilet and sink do not have water so if you use the toilet be prepared to smell it the entire time because there is no flush and the bucket does not provide enough force to move it down. Sorry for the graphic but you need to know. The shower did work but in my travel mates room he had no warm water as I was informed by reception that very few rooms have any hot water at all||||The AC unit puts out cold air but also hot air as it’s not properly vented so the room does not get cool. I took the fan from the lobby so I could try to get some sleep||||The roosters crow all night so ear plugs are a must ||||The place is a multi story walk up so be prepared to get your steps in. 6 floors with no lift ||||The doors have weak locks that can be simply opened with a credit card because the doors move enough to slide it in so don’t bring valuables - No room safe ||||My travel mate heard about my toilet experience and was smart to use the public toilet in the lobby but because there was no water he asked about how to wash his hands. Someone went I to the kitchen and brought out a cooking pot with water in it and said to use this. Really? No way in heck we are going to eat anything prepared in that kitchen!||||I would abound unless there is no other options. In full disclosure we did not pick the place and did not know what we were in for until we arrived ||||As a positive, the view from the balcony at the back of the building is quite...
