While in Oslob I first came here for Lunch then again for Breakfast the next day. Great service, fantastic aircon and good food.
Lunch: I got the Burger which came with Fries and then I got the soup of the day which was a tomato soup with a pesto topping -- The burger was okay and so we're the fries. The tomato soup was the highlight of this meal. The soup was pretty hearty, but the pesto gave it so much more character and took the soup to another level. If in Oslob, I would come back to get that tomato pesto soup. 4/5 for the entire meal.
Breakfast: Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I got the American Breakfast which comes with your choices of (coffee/tea), (bacon/sausage), (banana/mango), and your choice for how you want your eggs done (SPOILER: GET THE OMELETTE). It also comes with toast and some spreads for the toast, some potatoes and some tomato+cucumbers as garnish -- The coffee was fantastic which paired well with my choice of banana for fruit. The butter was soft which was perfect for the toast which was nice and hot. The bacon was nice, but the absolute star of the show for me was THE OMELETTE. The eggs were so well seasoned and it was such a soft and delicate omelette. I believe there were bell peppers and cheese in the omelette (my memory is failing me), but overall I have to say the omelette was delicious and I recommend it over getting sunnyside up or scrambled. I also ordered an extra side of fries because I love potatoes so, why not? As far as this breakfast goes, I would come back to this restaurant every morning if I were in Oslob just to get this American...

We dined on the al fresco side of the resto. We were the first ones to arrive there, followed by a male foreigner. We ordered the same kind of shake (we ordered first) but the old man's shake came first. Furthermore, when we asked for complimentary sauces like suka and toyo, we had to follow up multiple times kasi nawawala sa isip ni ate (?) and when she finally brought it to our table naspill nya lol. She was talking to the foreigner the whole time we were being served. Even upon the arrival of our order (which includes pork sinigang), she almost spilled the whole bowl lol. Okay lang naman yung ientertain nya yung foreigner pero wag naman sana to the point na ididisregard natin yung filipino diners hahaha sobrang laban si ate nakalimutan nya na umorder din kami hahahaha. We didn't call her out kasi we're really tired from all the activities we had but woah she was so memorable kasi it was the only bad thing we had at Oslob. :)
Food: 3/5, Cost: 2/5
Our whole order cost us around 1,400+ for 3 cup of rice, tuna, pork sinigang and sisig. Food is basic nothing extravagant or memorable. We had a better dining experience on other restos in Oslob for a cheaper price with better food and service. It was just that the taste and the service doesn't qualify...
Read moreI just don't like the other staff in the counter on how the provide service for customers. SometimeS the young guy don't know completely what to put on the table and later on he forget no spoon and fork ,still have to ask, and the water ,they are not really well good service provider for eaters here and you can see on the picture a group. I sitted there before the come and the staff ask me to move because they are 16 people. I think it's not really appropriate to move a customer from the table because people are coming and they have to set the tables on them. They should find a better way than moving a customer sitted perfectly for the people who comes. I just don't like it. And they always ask for your orders and wanted to take back the menu it's like they cannot wait for the orders when they see a customer is still busy on phone. I hate it. I had a cold coffee drink last time and it was really bad tastes like water no coffee at all but never returned back my payment even if I inform them and take it in the front of their counter. Shame on this staff from the restaurant specific the young man. This is my opinion. LE Bistrot...
