Florencia's Inn — Hotel in Panglao

Stayed for 5 nights.

PROS: Room is very big and clean as well as the toilet and bath 10 minutes motor drive to Alona Beach, 3 minutes drive to Dumaluan Beach, Oceanica, Bee Farm. Front desk is very accommodating/helpful. Have security guard at night felt very safe.

CONS: Fontdesk most of the time is missing but is one call away. No daily housekeeping (only cleaned once during 5 night stay) but I believe they will make up room everytime you request No WIFI during the night so we need to text or call front desk to get WIFI turned on every night. Water is very rusty and it made my hair frizzy, dry, and tangled during my stay. What made my experience worst is that they don't have hair dryer on the room to at least help. I think water only came from the storage tank?...

Jen, the woman at the front desk, was the most helpful and nice person we met in the Philippines! Even though breakfast was served from 7-10am, we got served twice at 6am due to activities/flights. Everything was clean and during our 4 night stay we got offered a free cleaning service. All the women there were very helpful and we would 100% recommend this place. It’s true that it isn’t the closest to Alona beach but they do offer motorbike rent at a good price and it’s a nice drive there! 5km from Alona beach, quiet pensionate along the road. Not very expensive. Stayed there several days, relaxed place. You can rent a scooter 5km south to get around.
