We arrived at Peurto Princesa airport after a long day of travel and still needed to get to Port Barton. Info desk inside airport directed us to the travel agencies located just outside the exit doors on the right. There are two competing agencies next door to each other very awkwardly trying to get people's attention as they leave. We chose De Lori as they said the van would leave within 5-10 minutes (the other was honest and said it will leave at 4pm (it was 230pm)). One of the staff (Jose Dy. Tavu) promised it would leave within 5 minutes.||As time goes by we keep asking when we are leaving and he keeps saying "soon". We thought about leaving but they already took our money. Well that "soon" ended up being 430pm (2 hours later). Just before leaving we speak to the driver with Jose and they agree to drop us at our accommodation and not the bus station. We even showed our accommodation on the map.||The van driver drove like a maniac for 3 hours, constantly at what I'd estimate to be 120km/hr, dodging traffic, trucks and buses in the most dangerous places. Not only that but no seat belts work.||By the time we arrive it's night time and he stops at the Port Barton "bus station" which is basically nothing. When we ask to check he is still taking us to our hostel he says no and denies ever agreeing. It then turns out he had the same conversation with the rest of the passengers and he's denying it to everyone. He says "it's a small town you can walk.". Out of principle we disagree and argue alongside other passengers. After much arguing he agrees to pay for only our tricycle to our accommodation (not sure why not others but we take it).||A bunch of liars, money-stealers and super dangerous driving.|DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!|They seem to also own this Inn so, given its the same owners, I wouldn't recommend staying there either....
Read moreMy finance and I booked a trip to El Nido. We were told that it was a one day trip, leaving at 7am and returning at about midnight. We took enough money and clothes for the day. Part way there the driver told us our trip starts at 9:30am tomorrow. With just enough clothes and money for a day trip, we had to pay for accomodation, extra meals that we hadn't planned for. The following day the trip was amazing, but no thanks to De Loro. We then began the long journey back to Puerto Princess, hungry and thirsty with no money left to buy food or water. 2 day trip would have been great if we had been told it was 2 days and taken enough money and clothes. I think staff training is vital, it's not that difficult, even I know it's a 2 day trip now, and I don't work for the company. Poor,...
Read moreDe Loro Inn & restau is the ideal place when you're looking for a one-stop shop because they also have travel agency not only accommodation and restaurant. We're so lucky that we met Mr. Thots and discover this De Loro. They helped us a lot during our stay.||||Their booth is located beside the arrival exit of the airport. We came at Puerto Princesa without any itinerary like we only know is that we have accommodation for only one day and that's all! Hahaha so when we discover this de loro they are the one who arranged our itinerary from Puerto Princesa until El nido and then back to Puerto Princesa again.||||I will surely recommend this to others. Thank you so much again especially...
