Lawaan Garden Inn — Hotel in Roxas

Good customer service and fast WiFi. I couldn't find the WiFi password at first but customer service was happy to come over and show me the written password when I had trouble understanding the WiFi password over the phone.

The WiFi password is virus211 in all lowercase and the WiFi network ID is Lawaan Garden Hotel.

I'm lucky I brought my own toothbrush, toothpaste and conditioner because they don't provide any toothpaste or toothbrush. They provide a very miniature bottle of Shampoo with Conditioner mixed in.

I strongly prefer using a separate conditioner rather than a combination mixture of conditioner and shampoo. The bar of soap is only 11 grams and the custom mixture of shampoo and conditioner appears to be made by the hotel with a very primitive label.

There's no instructions, ingredients, weight or volume on the "Shampoo w/ Conditioner" so I plan on buying my own shampoo, handsaop and body wash as soon as I get a chance to get to a store.

I would recommend adding separate conditioners, shampoos, body washes along with a toothbrush and toothpaste in case any traveler's forget to bring a toothbrush, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and/or hand soap.

My husband and I were already at the airport, waiting for our flight to Kalibo (Kalibo-Roxas same day) when we found out that our earlier arrangements for our accommodations in Roxas city will not push through. So I hurriedly searched for hotels in Roxas in Trip Advisor and luckily found Lawaan Garden Inn. I dialled the landline number on their website and was happy to know that they still had a superior room available at P1200 per night, with bfast for two. |We were a bit skeptical about the hotel because of the cheap price and were pleasantly surprised that it's in a nice location, near Robinsons Roxas and the terminal to Estancia (our tour destination). The inn has a homey feel to it and the receptionist was very helpful. It looks like it is a relatively new establishment. The room is well appointed with two single beds (that we moved side-by-side), a humble tv, cabinet, 2 free bottled water, and a bidet(!). Modern hotel with clean room and comfortable bed. Aircon worked well, hot water shower and cable tv. My room faced the street so I had access to a balcony. Street noise wasn't too bad. My room even had a swinging chair in it.||My only picky thing would be that there were a few ants in the room and bathroom.||The staff were friendly and helpful. They organised trike and costs out front for me.||I only had one meal from the food menu which was good.
