Place is clean and well-maintained. Staff is also friendly. Location is good and it's a 5min ride to the malls. One of the things that I don't like is that there's a CCTV inside the room so my privacy is violated. The WiFi is also unstable due to unresponsive DNS servers. Outgoing connections to external DNS servers are blocked, so you can't fix this on your end without circumventing the firewall. Other than those issues, the place is OK. It's also quiet and I had a nice sleep. EDIT: tried this hostel again but my experience was more disappointing than the last time. The ground floor also acts as co-working/studying place. It's a nice concept, although the students end up talking loudly from 11pm to 5am and silence is not enforced. Other than that, the cleanliness of the facility has been maintained and I'll still end up staying in this place again. Water pressure needs to be improved though.

The place is very clean and smells good. However, if you book the barkada capsule and your bed is at the top, you’ll likely hear noise from above, such as footsteps and children running, which can be quite disturbing. Additionally, the room is sometime hot because the air conditioner is not strong enough. They have electric fans, but they don’t really help much with the heat. The restroom is clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, especially if you have a flight, and the price is affordable at only 500 pesos. They accept GCash and Maya transfers. Advance booking is also allowed, and you’re required to pay a booking fee, which will be deducted from the total room charge. A 200-peso security deposit is also required, which will be returned upon checkout.

Very accessible from the airport. We rented a family room which costs around 400 pesos (8 USD) per person per night. We stayed here the night we arrived at Tacloban and the day before leaving for Manila. The room has split AC and drawers. There's a small lamp for each bed and curtains for privacy. The restrooms are clean and have a shower heater. There's free wifi, too. I just wish they had thicker blankets and safety rails on the bunk beds but overall, it was a pleasant stay. The staff are nice and polite, too! We really appreciate them for accommodating our requests. We were able to relax before and after our flight. Will surely stay here again next time!

En route to Samar, I was searching for a place to stay for a night and that is within budget. Thank goodness I found His Capsule Hostel. It was so close to the airport and the easy to get to the downtown area. ||||The hostel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. For backpackers or solo travelers, they have capsule beds where you can stay for a night. They also have barkada rooms and family rooms if you are traveling with a big group. Sleep quality was very nice. The mattress was really good, pillows firm, air conditioning works really well, and the hot/cold shower worked perfectly! ||||The Wi-Fi works really well and very stable making it a favorite tambayan for students or those doing group study sessions. ||||A hostel worth considering when...
