Brews + Breakfast Fusion Coffee — Restaurant in Tacloban

This place is truly a hidden gem! My whole family and I were visiting family here in Leyte and came to have dinner here at brews and breakfast. All their pastas were amazing!!!! Their cold and hot drinks are also to die for! From the flavor to their freshness everything was great!

As if we couldnt have enough we went back couple days later to try their breakfast. And it did not disappoint!! My kids loved the oreo pancake! Me and my husband’s favorite was their spanish latte which was also good!

Oh before i forget….the CHEESECAKES!!!! Specially the kalamansi flavor….WOW!!!

They have drip coffee and cold brew using single origin beans, pretty rare in Tacloban. It's a humble cafe with a homey atmosphere. Great food too and an extensive menu of coffee and non-coffee options. Staff is attentive to detail - i just asked for a fork coz my friend and i decided to share the pasta but they also gave me an extra platito hehe.

Wish they had more space, more windows and light but these are minor quibbles and nice-to-haves, in case they ever consider...

I love this place because it's different. Most cafes have less enthusiastic barristas but this one has great accomodation. They explain the specific ingredients of their offerings. I ordered a Vanilla Oreo and it was surprisingly good. They use metal straws which are cleaned out well. A tall glass of smoothie is worth the budget. The coffee is okay though, but the ambience is already neat and peaceful. It's small compared to most cafes but...
