The Grayhouse Inn is at its soft opening last weekend, but I had the pleasure of a great overnight stay with them.||||Upon entering the small lobby, you would immediately notice the clean aesthetic of the place. To the right is the reception area and to the left is a dining/lounge area. Free drinking water is readily supplied, and if any guest need condiments or utensils, the Inn also provides them.||||There are around 3 rooms in the ground floor just beyond the lobby, which are the most accessible rooms. The kitchen is also found on the ground floor. The second floor and third floor each hold around 5 very comfortable rooms. ||||The beds have premier mattresses and down pillows that are so heavenly to sleep on. I had to share a room with two others, so I took the roll-out bed. But even then, the extra bed was super pleasant to sleep in (unlike other hotel offerings). I slept like peacefully and deeply. The owner really took care in ensuring the ease and comfort of the guests. ||||The towels provided are super fluffy, the shower has hot and cold water with good pressure (despite a main water pipe bursting somewhere in Tagaytay), and the bathrooms are very clean. They also have shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush and slipper sets for guests!||||But the absolute best part is the balcony in the third floor where one can set up a table for a nice (but cold) dinner out, or lay back on the hammock (provided by the Inn) and stare at the stars. Its the best (and my favorite) part of the Inn.||||SUMMARY: The Grayhouse Inn has a homey appeal and is definitely a place for those who want a good night's sleep before venturing out to tour around Tagaytay. I give it a 10 out of 10 for its design and details which are all aimed to increase the comfort of the guests. I always put a premium in the quality of sleep I have in a place, and Grayhouse Inn definitely exceeded expectations.||||P.S. Get your coffee or hot chocolate fix from them and bring it to the third floor balcony to watch the sun set and the stars come out.
Read moreA lot of great things about this “inn,” I don’t know where to start... ||||The location is near a supermarket and a lot of other stores so you wont have trouble getting what you need. There are parking spaces too so that’s not s problem...unless maybe there’s like one car for every person in one group.||||The staff (and the owners!) are very accomodating. The lobby is nice, clean, and has this industrial-modern rustic vibe. They got tables and stools to go with the bulb lighting plus hammocks just outside and I found it very cool. ||||They are environment friendly, so you can’t see plastic utensils and they got eco-friendly reminders everywhere. ||||The stairs are made of classy marble but they got stoppers so everyone will be safe.||||The rooms are nice albeit the view is not so much (but the rooftop and the penthouse views more than compensate for that). The bed the pillows the sheets are so comfy (even the extra bed - which is a rollout one, hotel level!). I can’t say anything about the breakfast though, because, like I said, the bed’s comfy and I overslept!||||The bathroom is very clean and has a weird shower layout, but I heard that an additional makeover is on the way. I super love their Shampoo and Conditioner for having PEARL in the ingredients list!||||Overall I will not have second thoughts about staying in this “inn” again for another relaxing...
Read moreWe are very grateful for the staff at Grayhuse Inn. We booked three rooms during our stay and we had three senior members with us. They allowed us to check in early so our parents could get settled as we were very tired from the trip.
The hotel was pretty basic but had the essentials for our overnight stay.
The breakfast they served was adequate and there are stores and fast food places which are walking proximity to the Inn.
This place is recommended for family groups. There is also a hotel next door which we were able to book...
