I and my co-workers decided to take trip from the beach to a new ambiance which some of us had never visited yet. We planned to visit Tagaytay. Without any plans, we took the chances that we might get a room or somewhere to stay or not. After an hour looking around, we found this B&B on our way. The hotel was good. It's along the main road and has a little view of the Taal Volcano. The front desk (i forgot her name) was really accommodating. We noticed that she is the night shift staff of the said hotel. She greeted us with her wide smile that makes us feel comfy on the place. After our long trip, all of us didnt realize that we almost over stayed on our bed and fell asleep. I went down and saw the pregnant woman and threw her a smile. It was really awkward cause its like she saw nothing. She just looked at me and say nothing. Score Board (me) - 0 (she) - 1. I didnt mind her at all. While we are driving to go around the place, one of my co-worker told us his experience with the same woman. Score Board (me) - 0 (she) -2. She was really really snob! As the hour passed by and it was getting dark, we decided to got back to the hotel and get some rest for we are traveling again on the next day. We asked the pregnant woman some information and she just answered us "yes", "no" and "maybe". Score Board (me)- 0 (she)-3. At exactly 11:00 pm, i went out of our room and decided to take my calls downstairs. I saw the front desk that assisted us when we checked-in. I ask her some details about the pregnant front desk and she said that it was their Manager. Manager? I think she shouldn't be there. The next morning, as my boss was paying our remaining bills, she complained about the pregnant woman. My boss told the front desk to tell the pregnant woman not to be rude and try to be very accommodating. I think the manager needs to be trained on how to smile and be polite with their clients. Score board (me) - 0 (she) - 4||||Im not boasting but we are all working on a resort and we make sure not to be as rude as her. i am the front desk anyway that's why i am so much sensitive about the thing she did to me and to my co-workers, especially to my boss. ||||The night shift front desk should be in her position - she deserves a raise. To the owner, do not tolerate that pregnant...
Read moreMy family usually have a planned trip especially during long weekends, but last weekend, September 11,2016 we don't have any plan of going for an overnight stay...but since its a long weekend my children are bragging us to go out of town. After lunch we packed up and I said to my hubby we just take a chance on having a place to stay over night in Tagaytay...after a several Bed and Breakfast places we landed here at John Peter B&B. The staff at the reception was so accommodating, that she accompanied us to a family room. What I like most as I get inside is the aromatic smell of the fabrics which is so refreshing. The room and the bathroom was so cleaned knowing that they have a white tiles and white paint inside the bathroom. The room was so inviting that it seems you want to sleep all day with the comfort of the soft bed and the pillows. Keep it up John Peter B & B. For sure we will be going back soon. ||Take note: they served a nice breakfast with a lots of rice and...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to spend a night in Tagaytay, and since it's not planned, we had no time to make any room reservations. Thankfully, we came across this B&B that had a sign that they have room vacancies. I like that it's just near the main road and that they have ample parking spaces available. Although they don't accept credit card payments (cash only), the check-in process was a breeze and we were provided a deluxe room that had a veranda. ||||The room was clean, the bed comfy, and they provide toiletries including slippers, plus their breakfast comes from the restaurant next door. Our sleep was good enough, but since it's a small place you can hear when people are talking in the hall or are opening/closing their doors. Their free wifi is useless, too, we weren't able to use it at all. ||||Their staff are nice, though. The place is not bad, especially if you'll be out most of the time enjoying Tagaytay and just needs a bed to sleep on after...
