A Culinary Gem in Tagaytay: Balinsasayaw

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Tagaytay, Balinsasayaw is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it was an experience worth raving about.

Ambiance: As we stepped into Balinsasayaw, we were immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance. The restaurant boasts a charming rustic decor, with wooden furnishings and soft lighting that create an intimate and cozy atmosphere. The breathtaking views of Tagaytay's rolling hills and lush greenery only added to the overall charm, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal with loved ones.

Customer Service: What truly sets Balinsasayaw apart is its impeccable customer service. From the moment we were seated, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by the staff. They were attentive to our needs throughout the meal, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Their professionalism and friendliness truly enhanced our dining experience, making us feel like valued guests.

Culinary Delights: Of course, no visit to Balinsasayaw would be complete without sampling their renowned bulalo. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The bulalo was a masterpiece of flavors – rich, savory broth filled with tender beef shanks, corn, and vegetables. Each spoonful was a delight to the taste buds, leaving us craving for more. It's no wonder why Balinsasayaw is famous for this dish – it's simply divine!

Overall Experience: Our dining experience at Balinsasayaw was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of great ambiance, superb customer service, and mouthwatering bulalo made it a memorable meal for my family and me. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Tagaytay, I highly recommend paying a visit to Balinsasayaw for an unforgettable...

Had lunch there yesterday. We were seated fairly quickly at a hut outside. The breeze was refreshing and the hut was well netted hence insects were not a problem.

The female server assigned to us set the experience negatively for the entire family. She was rude from the start “wait lang ha” and missed a total of 4 orders (Java rice, garlic rice, Turon de leche and chicken salad) when asked where the orders were she irately replied “you never ordered that”. Her negativity was absolutely contagious! It was hard to enjoy the food with all the wrong and missing orders, while being served by someone that irate and unhappy. How our excitement quickly vanished!

We just had to wait and wait and follow Up only to find out she never forwarded the orders to the kitchen staff. Things were only resolved when Sir Benjie started assisting us. I did feed this back to the manager who Was so apologetic.

Anyway the food was good, the crispy pata meat was soft while the skin was crispy all throughout. The bulalo well seasoned, the beef Salpicao was chewy and didn’t taste fresh. The ensalada was good, baked scallops mediocre. It was hard to enjoy the food without the rice! Which We ended up waiting 15mins for, by that time we’ve turned most of the food as appetizer.

The price was reasonable for its serving. Overall it was okay. We wouldn’t be keen on Going back, there’s nothing too special about it in all honesty. We do thank the rest of the staff for trying hard to appease us, and maybe that’s the case for hungry pinoys it’s hard to Make amends when the rice is late 😅! Miss the other orders just not the rice, that’s the deal...

The restaurant offers a fantastic and unique dining experience. You have the option to dine in a beautifully lit event space surrounded by a lively crowd or enjoy a more private meal in an exclusive hut. Both settings are charming and well-maintained.

The dining experience overall was excellent. The staff, especially the waiters, were attentive and provided great service. Parking is spacious, so finding a spot is never an issue.

Another highlight is the menu—almost everything is consistently available. I’ve visited four times in the past three to four months, and availability has always been impressive.

However, my only critique is with the desserts, specifically the cakes. They’re served mildly cold, which is less refreshing than I’d prefer. It feels like they’re only chilled briefly before being served. I’d love for them to be properly refrigerated for a more satisfying finish to an otherwise perfect meal.

Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend...

Balinsasayaw restaurant in Tagaytay is a really good place to eat with your friends and family. We keep coming back because the food is just too tasty to resist. The atmosphere is great, especially with the cool weather in Tagaytay. You can sit in their traditional huts called Kubos, and these huts have nets to keep pesky mosquitoes away. They've got a bunch of bathrooms, but they're nothing fancy. The parking area is huge, which is super convenient. The staff is regular but friendly and easy to chat with. Now, let's talk about the Filipino dishes – like Bulalo, Crispy Pata, Kare-Kare, Sisig, and Chicken Tinola – they're all delicious and surprisingly, they give you big servings, so it's really worth the money. What's even better is that they recognize PWD and Senior Citizen Discounts. You also get free parking, and there's no extra service charge. So, if you're looking for good Filipino food, a cozy place, and deals that make it all the more enjoyable, Balinsasayaw is the spot for you!
