We had great stay at Hotel Carlito over the weekend. Staff were very friendly and courteous. They're so proactive in assisting us during our stay. The crew at the reception, the lobby guards, and the housekeeping are commendable.
Our room was great, very tidy and smells nice. Having a specific speaker and a switch for relaxing music upon entering the room is a nice touch. The toiletries are well thought out and smelled amazing. We had bath tub in our room and my wife loved it. While I also do love the tub, one thing that I really loved is that we are just a door away from the fitness center. Though having a limited (as in very limited) set of machines and equipment, I had a good workout. The fitness room is situated in a space where one can just open the doors and let the Tagaytay breeze enter and just have a relaxing cardio while watching ones favorite content. All these on top of it being one of most reasonably priced rooms in Tagaytay. We just wished the TV unit in our room, or possibly any other room, is enabled to connect through wireless connection and play content on streaming apps such as Netflix and YouTube. But they do got quite a good cable subscription with lots of channels to choose from as an alternative so its just a minor nitpick. Also, while not being a deal-breaker for us and wont be a factor for our next visit, the hotel is beside one of Tagaytay's main road so don't expect much in terms of quietness and noise esp. at night when the roads are clear and a lot of trucks and motorcycles are driving around.
The cafe and restaurant is exceptional. The place is really well organized, maintained, and well designed. Also the food is really good. We had plated breakfast the 1st morning and 2nd breakfast was a buffet setup (hotel management's discretion which they consider the number of guests) of mostly Filipino usual breakfast food items which we really loved. It's that good. Couple it with a great piano instrumental in the background played in the lobby is quite an experience.
All in all our stay at Hotel Carlito is so relaxing. We'll...

The hotel’s design is both elegant and artistic, with tasteful interiors that create a serene, boutique atmosphere. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully appointed, with a comfortable bed and amenities that enhanced my stay. The view from the window added to the calming ambiance—an ideal escape from the city’s hustle.
Dining at the in-house restaurant was another highlight. The menu offered a well-curated selection of delicious, beautifully presented dishes. It was a delight to enjoy such quality food without having to leave the premises.
The location is also ideal—conveniently close to Tagaytay’s main attractions, yet quietly tucked away to offer peace and privacy. It strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility.
Above all, what truly set this stay apart was the service. Every staff member I encountered was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making my stay comfortable. Their hospitality made a lasting impression.
In summary, Hotel Carlito is a hidden gem in Tagaytay—a perfect choice for couples, families, or solo travelers seeking comfort, style, and sincere hospitality. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend it to anyone...
