It's a lovely place with some things to note for those who want to stay here. The paths are slippery. Most are covered with moss and have no grip especially when it rains. The Casitas have one wall where there's only a screen, no glass window, and this is the only source of light. Noises from outside can filter in your room and vice versa (but it's usually quiet outside). There's a musky smell in the room because of #2. The cable TV works in half of the channel. Turning to the driveway from the main road is hard especially if coming from the Aguinaldo Highway side. It's better coming from the Starbucks side. There's a road being constructed and the side gutter is sticking out, making the turn quite challenging for SUVs.
With this said, the place is very nice if you can live with the things mentioned above. Some of the things we liked: The place has a unique feel. It's secluded and very serene. At night, you can hear the insects and the frogs at the pavilion. Hang out there at night. The breakfast is hearty and yummy with free flowing coffee. The room has a quaint, old country feel to it with its circular shape and the nice bathroom (note though that the bathroom is not sealed from main bedroom). The staff is very courteous. The overall design of the place is very nice for couples. So yeah, just be careful with the slippery walkways and you'll be ok. I also recommend going there from the Starbucks side or if you are coming from the Aguinaldo highway side, make a left turn just after Waze says to make a right to Moon Garden, make a U-turn somewhere, go back and enter the driveway from the other side of the road, it's much easier to do, until the road...
Read moreThe place was beautiful and the staff was courteous. It was a bit of a hidden gem away from the main road. No board outside. I'm a PWD hence was a bit uncomfortable at the time of check in, as the road is Rocky and has fungus on the stairs; which gives a beautiful look to the garden but affects my mobility. The owner was really supportive and helpful. We got the room closet to the entrance. There is only the breakfast menu available throughout the day, but it is delicious. Food delivery is an option, but all the places that we called, refused to deliver even around 8:30 pm. So, we had to go without food as the other option was to have breakfast again. By the way, the brewed coffee was super nice. Upon the instruction of the owner, the staff arranged for a tuktuk for us to travel back to the bus stop. Overall a good stay. Will be glad to...
Read moreWe’ve been to this place for 2 times already. It is one of my to go place whenever I want to have a R&R near laguna. The place offers a unique and private bed and breakfast experience from the beautiful green landscape, to their cute villas, koi pond, and a good breakfast. ||The villas are situated far from each other for privacy. They have a very unique concept. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is beautifully designed. The rooms doesn’t have airconditions but they provide a ceiling fan it won’t be a problem since the weather is really good in tagaytay especially at night. The view from the windows is beautiful and calming especially in the morning. The breakfast is great and you can have it in the middle of the koi and water lily pond. The decorations are very well thought. Plus it is...
