This is not a good or a bad experience and is worth a try.
Its location is reasonably easy to find unlike some locations i have visited. They seem to have 2 car parking locations, but would advise that you arrive early.
The layout of the restaueant area is faily basic especially the tables and chairs (which get uncomfortable the longer you stay- you might want to take your own cushion.
The menu is changed on a regular basis so you might be better to check before you visit their offering - which to be honest was pretty limited.
We went as part of a group of 10 people which seemed to overwhelm the staff. It took time for the items to come and in return they offered a free soup which was a nice gesture. I asked for pepper which i never got at the table.
The Salad was well presented and i shared with my wife - good taste and enoigh for 2 people if you are having a main course as well. My wife wanted the lamb but they did not have this and so chise the pork which was OK. I chose the chicken which was interestingly presented on mashed potato in a spicy sauce.
Again they struggled to serve all at the same time but jyst managed this.
Again they had issues with providing other items - basically they forgot a d had to be reminded. One of the group askes for a beer - which when they got they sent back.
I had a blended ice tea which included star annece and was certainly different but not bad.
Overall the prices were a little on the high side but the meals were presented very professionally more like an award winning restaurant.
The washrooms were limited in size but were clean and well presented.
It deserve a 3.5 star rating but cannot offee this - based on the uncomfortable chairs and the mix ups on food delivery to the tables.
Give it a go - it certainly seemed a popular location.
As a side note they have some interesting street stalls alongside the restaurant selling various items in...
Read moreMorgano has been our go-to place in Tagaytay since last year!
We always order their steaks, house-blend iced tea, handmade pasta, and of course whatever their main dishes for the week.
What I love about this restaurant is that they have a weekly menu, that there’s something new to try each visit!
Parking: There are parking spaces within the restaurant area. Free of charge. If all spaces are occupied, there’s a vacant lot converted to a pay parking beside the restaurant and just inform the guard that you parked there. He will give you a ticket that needs to be validated after bill out para free yung parking fee.
Ambience: This restaurant is located near Pink Sisters Tagaytay. Very quiet. Perfect place if you want to eat great food and at the same time, quiet. I must say, intimate place siya for me.
Service: We always get good service from them. Mula pagpasok sa area, you will be greeted by everyone. You can feel the warmth with their greetings. And since we frequently eat here for our life celebrations, the servers know our favorite table, knows na we’ll be needing a high chair for my kid. I feel at home whenever we dine here.
Food: Always positive feedback sa lahat ng kinain ko. Please try their ribeye steak or the delmonico (subject to availability) and their handmade pasta. Serving size is good for 1-2 persons, depends on whether you are a big eater or not. Pero super sulit every order.
Price: With the great food and customer service that you’ll be getting, the prices are justified. We are three and we usually spend 3k and up with every visit....
Read moreWe ordered two steaks, the Wagyu Picanha and US Black Angus Ribeye. We had to send both back. And then they served the SAME STEAK to us THREE TIMES.
The Wagyu Picanha was first served cold. We sent it back, and instead of cooking a new one, they just reheated it. So the steak is no longer the medium rare that we ordered. So we asked to just cancel the dish, and mentioned we didn’t like gravy on the steak either. Why put gravy on a P2800 steak?? They served the SAME steak again anyway despite us asking to cancel, by just scraping off the gravy and pan frying it. By this time parts of the steak are already well done.
In the meantime, the US Black Angus Ribeye was very sloppily cut, as if with a blunt knife or someone with no knife skills, and it was very inconsistently cooked; some parts medium rare, some parts medium well, even in the middle and not just the edges to be expected. The tomato on the side even had HAIR in it.
The fries were crispy but extremely greasy (it’s like a burst of oil when you bite into it). The mushroom soup was bland, and had a weird consistency that was both watery and oily–not creamy at all. The pumpkin soup had too much cinnamon; it was almost like drinking a pumpkin spice latte. We had to followup our drinks which weren’t served until the end of our meal.
The only consolation was the friendly service of the waitresses. I feel bad for them being let down by...
