The food service is kinda slow considering there were only two tables that were occupied including ours. We were party of 5 and it took more than 20 minutes for our orders to arrive inspite of the number of staff.

The Edi Tempura was bland, Tori Teriyaki and Tori Tepanyaki was average. Gyōza taste like frozen dumpling. Tempura Soba Ramen (Buckwheat) was not that great, the included carrot tempura was still some what raw and hard to bite. Maguro Sashimi was great, color is still bright red with no fishy after taste. We didn't order California Temaki as we were told that it is only 1 cone and cost over ₱200.

Overall, it is not up to par. The cost is touristy expensive and we are even resident of Tagaytay. Averages about ₱600/pax (food only) and will still leave you hungry. The bowl of Japanese Plain Rice is not even Japanese uruchimai (粳米) short grain variety and they charge expensive for few tablespoon they call bowl.

I don't understand how they get 2018 TripAdvisor Excellence Award. The length of their menu is a challenge for those not familiar with Japanese cuisine. Yes, I can cook. Bowl of Miso Soup for ₱90 is expensive. Miso Soup is just Dashi Powder, Miso Paste, Wakame and Silken Tofu. For ₱90, if you have the Miso Soup ingredients, it could generously feed 6 people relatively. ₱90 for a small bowl is crazy expensive. Not...

Unfortunately, our overall experience was quite disappointing. • Maki: The presentation and quality were subpar. It was not properly prepared — unevenly coated with visible gaps. It gave the impression that it was made by an inexperienced chef. For the price of ₱400, it felt overpriced. • Chicken Teriyaki: The chicken was not properly deboned, and the sauce was very minimal, lacking flavor and depth. • Tempura: This was the most disappointing dish. The breading was extremely hard, the shrimp was small, and overall, it was not enjoyable. For over ₱500, it felt like a complete waste.

In addition, there is an 8% service charge, yet the cleanliness and service did not reflect this. The tables and chairs in the alfresco area were dirty, and no one cleaned them before we were seated. There were no staff stationed outside, so we had to wait a long time to get assistance. Basic essentials like tissue were not even provided on the table.

Overall Rating: 0/5. Definitely not worth the price nor...

Alright, buckle up, foodies!

Ever had that déjà vu moment where you're still savoring the flavors of an epic Japanese feast one day, only to find yourself at another joint the next, hoping lightning strikes twice?

Well, welcome to my culinary carousel!

Now, don't get me wrong, this place isn't half bad. But after yesterday's flavor symphony, it's like asking a cover band to follow up Duran Duran.

The dishes? Well, let's just say they leaned a bit too hard on the sweetness scale for my taste buds. Think Tokyo Tokyo vibes, a Filipino twist on Japanese food that’s been cranked up a notch or two.

Would I sprint back here if I found myself lost in Tagaytay again? Eh, probably not.

Was it my first pick for a gastronomic adventure? Nope, not even close.

But was it a culinary catastrophe? Not at all!

I guess I was just expecting fireworks and got more...

That one star is for Aozora’s service. Just horrible!!! First of all, we order, and I order mine which is Katsu Curry. The waitress, explains to me my order and and told me over and over what I just ordered. I literally have to tell her, “I know what Katsu Curry is” before she stopped. We waited for about 15-20 minutes for our food, which is reasonable, but.. they come up to me and tell me that my food is not available. After waiting for so long! So everyone on our table is now eating their meal and I didn’t eat. The waiters also didn’t ask which food belonged with who and just served the food. We had to ask them which one is which. Worst experience I’ve had at such a nice looking place. I will never go back! The food is not worth it with the service they provide. Now I know why they don’t have a service charge, because it’s nonexistent.
