⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Double Room with Shared Comfort Room – ₱587.83 (via Agoda)
This is honestly the worst accommodation I’ve stayed in while in Tagbilaran.
Cleanliness (⭐): Room is poorly maintained—peeling paint, damaged door, and dirty bedding. I was itching all over my upper body the whole time. The faucet in the common CR is broken and dirty, and the toilet won’t flush properly.
Comfort (⭐): No comfort at all. The aircon is weak and noisy even when set to 18°C. The bed is very uncomfortable. Room description claimed to have a desk—it was only a small side table. The CR isn’t “shared” as in a few rooms, but rather a public common one. Place feels more like a rundown transient than an inn. Creepy vibe too.
Security (⭐): No security guard in sight. Our room was next to the entrance, which had only a flimsy wooden door. Didn't feel secure at all.
Service (⭐⭐): Went there at 10 AM since Agoda said check-in was 10 AM—turns out it’s actually 12 noon. Front desk lacked formality and gave no instructions or assistance. No extra service or hospitality.
Location (⭐⭐⭐): Near the road and just ~850m from the public terminal (bus, van, jeep). Walking distance to eateries, convenience store. Nearest fast food chain - Jollibee, McDo, and nearest mall - Marcela/ICM. Convenient for commuting travelers.
WiFi: Very weak Noise Level: Noisy Check-in: Easy, but info was misleading
Would not recommend this place unless it undergoes a major renovation and...
Read moreNot your typical Reddoorz experience. Booked 2 nights for two, but upon entering the room the towel provided was only for one, I had to ask at the frontdesk for an additional. Toiletries didn't include soap, shampoo, and conditioner unlike other Reddoorz hotels. Not so cheap and not moneywise, only has one bedside cabinet and a cabinet above the bed which frustratingly was untidy - it had a leftover bibingka. I couldn't sleep the first night, decided to check out the next day even tho I booked 2 nights. When I did, I told the frontdesk personnel why, and his reply was only a nod while saying "Uhm, sge ma'am."/"Uhm, okay Ma'am", not even a little apology for the unejoyable and inconvenient stay. Giving it...
Read moreBeware! Good thing first: 1. Location is pretty good if you want to catch the local buses from the main bus station. Aircond. was working in our room, still making a lo of noice. The rest more like a joke here. No toilet paper, first coming here, the guy in the reception said he'll fix it on the spot. A day and a half later saying big problem, you have to buy it up the road... Sitting out area totally filled with garbage, plastic bottles, old beer bottles, also - more important - old food, bad smell etc. Actually nener seen anything like it. Hate to say, because the Phils usually so nice, never had a problem here. Kind of a weird place- stay away. There are way better...
