Terrible place. A family with terrible manners lives in and (owns/manages) the hostel. From the grandpa who cannot walk but sits around in public spaces in his underwear, shirtless. Couple other middle aged ruffians hanging out shirtless, smoking cigarettes every 15 minutes. No English at reception, reception never around as they live in hostel so they are busy tending to their screaming children, who cry all hours of the day. Cleanliness is alright. Several local long term residents in my room, never move from bed, just hang around all hours of day like it's their living room. It smells in rooms because of these people. Oh yes and the family staff scream and yell at each other at least several times a day. Wifi is only good at the "common room" which is two couches in a hallway (where half naked grandpa likes to post up and sweat).Wifi does not work at all in my dorm room. It's a dreadful place located back in a old garage. This is a hostel for locals with low standards. It is not a tourist or backpacker hostel at all. It's the antitheses of it. 2 bathrooms per gender despite dozens of beds. I can go on and on with the negatives, not...
Read morePretty good hostel! My first stay was in a cramped room, but this time I got a spacious one for 4, with lockers, chairs, and a good table. The kitchen is big, well-equipped, and has coffee and tea. Showers are clean, with good water, hangers, and a chair. There are comfy sofas around too. The lady at reception was super friendly, and check-in was easy. They also have a washing machine. Downsides: the toilet upstairs was quite dirtand mirrors. Also, the washing machine is oddly located in the ladies’ toilet. The entrance looks sketchy inside a cement yard, but it's totally safe -a bit hard to find from the street. Towels aren’t included. I'd still recommendy during my two-day stay, beds could use curtains, rooms need...
Read morePros: Good location very close to the main station, they have lockers, and they try to have people of the same sex in a room even if you haven't booked a bed in a male only room for example. It was also very quiet for a hostel and it's very very affordable. The rooms were clean.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit far from some rooms which is a bit inconvenient and the receptionist doesn't speak English. But the worst thing is that the rooms are cold. I went there this month (October) and there was no heating....the blankets they give you are very thin for this season in Poland. I personally couldn't sleep properly.Everyone was sleeping with extra clothes on...
