InBraga Hostel 18216/AL — Hotel in Braga

BED BUGS! I had the bed bugs experience and when informing the hostel was only overwhelmed with excuses (or not even that in first instance, but merely neglect). Thankfully didn't bring them with me to my friend's place afterwards. For days I was still itchy and the two night I spent on the hostel itself it was horrible. First night I thought it was mosquitos, only halfway the even worse second night I realised it was something else. The owner didnt feel like offering any form of compensation and said they came from other hostels....

I also left a more extensive review on Booking, but no reaction at all from the hostel which is just rude.So another post here to possibly get their attention.

UPDATE: received a reply from the hostel on Booking. Instead of acknowledging their shortcomings, they stated that I "possibly" imagined the bed bugs even when I showed the guy my widespread marks. Absolutely ridiculous. Also I was not the only one who suffered from bed bugs there, others were hospitalized, so yes there is an...

I'm an extremely experienced user of hostels, namely in Porto, and the relationship cost-quality in this hostel is unbeatable in Braga. It provides a cosy environment, facilitates social interaction, the staff is highly professional, nice and helpful and - this has become important recently - this is a serious, professional accomodation. Extremely clean, easy to access, fantastic location within the center of the city, highly organized, welcoming and equipped with absolutely all commodities and resources. It's definitely my automatic place of choice if I need to stay in a hostel in Braga. Besides the overall quality, this is a serious business and a honest, professional hostel, and this becomes an important aspect when you've had experiences in not-so-honest accomodations in this and other cities. I've been here and I'll definitely be back. Good vibes and environment, cleanliness, helpful staff. The best place to stay in Braga as a tourist or for any other reason. It feels like home. Five stars...
