This was a 10 day visit by my wife and myself as we had friends living in Figueira da Foz. The welcome from the owners on arrival made us feel 'at home' immediately. The room was of ample size with lots of drawers, a big wardrobe, a very comfortable bed, and most importantly, good pillows. The shower cubicle was a little smaller than we were used to but the water pressure was excellent. The room received noise from the street below at the weekend but when we mentioned this to our host he moved us to a quieter spot straight away. Typical continental breakfast of rolls, cheese, ham, coffee and juice which was fine for us. I thought the room was comfortable : the bathroom was definitely a tight fit and I had to wait to get hot water because I opted to shower in the late afternoon. Breakfast was more than adequate: two breadrolls and a croissant plus condiments, ham and cheese, orange juice. A big pot of coffee and milk. The hosts were super welcoming, made us feel like at home since the first moment and were helpful with anything we needed.
