Claridade Beach — Attraction in Figueira da Foz

The parking is a bit hard to find but the beach in itself is pretty good, it's very spacious so you can play all sorts of sports with friends and family and there are waves so it depends entirely on whether you like it or not but if you do, you can surf and enjoy the fun. A few flaws also are that the weather is a bit bad sometimes, there's a lot of wind and can get cold even on plain summer, the lifeguards are very attentive and there are plenty throughout the beach so you feel safe even with kids around, the sand is great to walk on and soft to the touch, there's also showers when you leave and enter the beach and next to the beach there's a football/soccer field a basketball court and a playground, there's also bars and a calisthenics station with a track field, the water is cold depending on where you're from but once you get used to it, it's actually enjoyable to swim in, it also has a lot of seaweed so if that's a problem I don't recommend the beach, you can also rent small tents to stay in and there are some trails you can jogg or walk in that are...

A Praia da Claridade é uma praia na freguesia de São Julião, na Figueira da Foz, Portugal, conhecida pela sua luminosidade única. Celebrizou-se no século XIX quando o extraordinário desenvolvimento da Figueira da Foz e as condições naturais da paisagem atraíam banhistas de todo o país. Fica na zona conhecida por Costa de Prata, devido ao tom prateado da luz do sol em contacto com o mar. La praia da Claridade (littéralement «plage de la Clarté») est une plage de sable de Figueira da Foz (Portugal), sur le littoral Atlantique connu sous le nom de Costa da Prata (Côte d'Argent). Elle jouit d'une luminosité remarquable qui lui a valu son nom Longue de 2 km, sur 400 m de largeur en moyenne, la praia da Claridade s'étend au nord de l'embouchure du Mondego.
