House Joel&Sónia — Hotel in Funchal

sonia and Joel are two such kind-hearted people. With your accommodation you live at the highest level for the duration of your stay. nothing was missing. everything was there that is needed for daily needs. including our daughter being entertained by Luca the dog. A small supermarket and the bus stop are within walking distance. but also a rental car was not a problem. if you are fast enough in front of other "tenants" you have access to the in-house vehicle. Access for this is via an electronic gate so that the car is safely parked in the yard at night. in the road situation, this is a very important aspect. We stayed there for 9 nights. It was what we needed. The apartment was big, clean, we had everything we needed. The hosts are very kind hearted and friendly, helpful. They explained us everything and gave us lots of suggestions including restaurants, routes to follow when visiting the island etc. It is 2 km away from Funchal center, but has bus station nearby so it's easy to come and go from and in the city.
