Super delicious: fried cod, a HEAPING basket of potatoes, basically an entire loaf of bread, a nice large salad. We were two hungry hikers and left full, with a big container of takeaway leftovers. The cod was nicely seasoned in an olive oil sauce and everything else tasted fresh and homemade. Highly recommend. It seems to be a favourite local hangout, got some tips from other diners. Cash only. We got the giant cod, bread, potatoes, salad and a 1.5L bottle of water for 35 €

I went to snack bar o passeio funchal today with my mum dad and my sister mollie for lunch And I really enjoyed my lunch today it was very tasty yummy delicious The staff that work there are very kind lovely polite The service there is very good amazing wonderful I had a lovely experience there today at snack bar o passio funchal Enjoy reading your google review by me This place gets it's very first out of 5 star rating by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5...

Google led us to this very low-key snack bar where there is no menu and no English spoken. A friendly couple will serve you some of the tastiest, crispiest cod you've ever had, and give you a bill on a post-it (everything in my photo was 32 euros). Can't get more local than this!

Il cane davanti al cancello potrebbe fare paura, ma è indifferente al passaggio di estranei, una volta varcato il cancello sembra di entrare in un bazar di piante, tra cui spiccano 2 orchidee giganti. Il locale è caratteristico e senza fronzoli, Agostinho può sembrare riservato, ma in realtà è un tipo giulivo. Teresa frigge senza sosta, da mangiare c’è baccalà fritto, insalata con pomodoro, patate bollite e pane. Il bere lo potete scegliere! Non c’è dubbio, il baccalà è molto buono!
