Saint Restaurante — Restaurant in Loulé

The service was pretty slow and inattentive. First we had to wait 15-20min for our food order, which were 2 calamari and 2 french fries. When our food was brought we noticed that they forgot one portion of calamari, but they quickly ordered a second one. Unfortunately the calamari were convenience food and had literally no taste! The only good thing were the French fries. 9,50€ for frozen calamari is not okay. After we finished our plates, they were left on the table for another 15mins, even though there were 4 service employees. They were just standing around and chatting with each other. On top we had to wait another 20mins to pay, after this time I stood up and went to the counter to pay. It’s very rare to find as bad service as in this „restaurant“. After addressing that the calamari are convenience food, guaranteed me that they are fresh made, which is a total lie! I would not recommend...

If you value respectful service, you’re better off choosing a different restaurant. We were told to wait 5 minutes for a table and ended up waiting over 30 — while several tables became free, new guests were seated immediately, and other tables simply sat dirty instead of being cleaned.

When we followed up, there was no apology, just a shrug and “it is what it is.” Mistakes can happen, but ignoring guests and refusing to own up to poor service is simply unacceptable. Definitely not...

Amazing new restaurant, if I was staying longer than a day visit I definitely would eat there again. Relaxing vibe, good tunes, service was great, and the food was amazing, all fresh, full of flavour and tasty.

Pocket friendly too costing $15 euro for a drink (beer/wine/soft drink), ribs, potatoes and salad, a pistachio chessecake and a string coffee too finish.
