Casa Dos Amigos Surf House — Hotel in Lourinhã

I had the absolute pleasure of staying with Niki, Eve, Joey, and Charlie for a month at their beautiful surf house. My stay was made absolutely wonderful by Nikki and Eva’s family-like-hospitality, incredible vegan cooking, eating times filled with laughter, chats about their studies, business, as well as their culture and incredible journey to get to where they are now. I also appreciated my alone time and quiet comforts both the house and community offered. Joey and Charlie (the cats) filled the space with extra personality and also felt part of the family making it even more difficult to leave. Casa Dos Amigos Surf House really felt like a home away from home for me and I am beyond grateful to have this experience. The town is small and gentle and surrounding towns were made easy to travel to with Niki and Eva’s advice and tips! I am not vegan however was eager and excited for the challenge. Both Niki and Eva made incredible food, always had healthy and fresh products in the kitchen and introduced me to different coffees, sweets (my favourite), and delicious, filling meals. I had never eaten better and hope to implement many aspects of this lifestyle to my life. When I think of my time their I am reminded of mostly the wonderful home and experience Niki and Eve have in their house and how special of a time it was. Casa Dos Amigos is a home for travelers. When I stayed at this place I found more than just a place to stay in Portugal. The house is cozy and invites to stay. The two amazing hosts Niki and Eva make sure you feel well throughout your stay and in addition they are great company whether you want to chill, play boardgames or watch a movie together. Also Joey (their cat) is a great entertainer and one simply must love him!🐈‍⬛

The town, Praia de Areia Branca, has got everything you need. The beach is just a two minute walk away from the house and there are several restaurants and bars along the beach. You have a supermarket close by and nice lookouts and walkways where you can watch the sunset. 🌅

The house itself is always nice and clean. Niki and Eva will make sure you start your day with a yummy and nutritious breakfast, that is even plant-based! 🌱

I had the best two weeks when I stayed at Casa Dos Amigos and I am already looking forward to come back! I'll definitely recommend it to everyone going to...

Ich durfte 8 Wochen bei Niki und Eva wohnen und es war eine fantastische Zeit ❤️

Die Kommunikation hat jederzeit hervorragend geklappt, ich bin unglaublich herzlich willkommen worden und habe mich direkt wie zuhause gefühlt.

Das Haus ist super hübsch eingerichtet, mit einem wunderbaren Auge für liebevolle Details ❤️. Alles ist sehr sauber und wann immer ich Sand von draußen reingeschleppt habe 😅, er war nach kürzester Zeit verschwunden. Mein Zimmer entsprach voll und ganz der Beschreibung, noch dazu waren Niki und Eva so lieb, mir einen Schreibtisch zur Verfügung zu stellen, an dem ich arbeiten konnte.

Niki und Eva achten sehr darauf, dass ihre Gäste sich wohl fühlen - sie geben einem tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung und helfen bei allen Fragen jederzeit weiter. Wann immer ich einen Wunsch oder eine Frage hatte - die Beiden hatten stets ein offenes Ohr für mich.

Im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer bzw. Esszimmer haben wir einige schöne Abende gemeinsam verbracht. Wir haben dort tolle Gespräche geführt, Spiele gespielt oder auch mal "nur" ferngesehen, um zu entspannen. Es war aber auch jederzeit ok, wenn ich mich in mein Zimmer zurück gezogen habe, um ein Buch zu lesen.

Niki und Eva stellen ihre eigenen Bücher wie auch Filme und Spiele zur Verfügung - wenn man also mal keine Lust auf Strand hat (welcher direkt um die Ecke ist - 3 Minuten laufen und schon hat man Sand an den Füßen 🥰), dann kann man es sich im Wohnzimmer gemütlich machen. Noch dazu gibt es eine Gitarre, die bespielt werden darf und uns den ein oder anderen Tag versüßt hat.

Das Essen ist großartig 🤤 - die Beiden kochen ganz hervorragend und noch dazu mit möglichst regionalen Zutaten. Wann immer möglich, versuchen Sie zudem Farmer aus der Region zu unterstützen und zaubern dann auch vegane Menüs, die mich absolut begeistert haben ❤️. Sie achten auf nachhaltige Produkte und denken sich ständig neue Rezepte aus, um ihre Gäste zu verwöhnen.

Ich könnte noch lange weiterschwärmen, denn ich habe während meines Aufenthalts so viele schöne Erfahrungen sammeln können 🥰❤️ und mich so Zuhause gefühlt. Ich kann Casa dos Amigos mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen ❤️. Also sag ich nur: Hin da! Es lohnt sich ❤️🥰
