Aquarius — Restaurant in Lourinhã

This is a must try in Praia de Areia Branca, weather you have kids or wish to feel like a kid, or just love ice cream, waffles, pancakes or a good coffee then Aquarius provides all of the above with some great open air and indoor seating arrangements.

The staff are friendly and the layout is open so you can watch the staff prepare your pancakes or ice cream delights while you wait, or take a seat at one of the nearby tables and enjoy a coffee while they prepare and bring you order.

They have music playing and there is always a joyful vibe at Aquarius, the place is popular amongst locals and travelers alike, and with the sweet and delicious aromas escaping onto the promenade many who walk past...

Would NOT recommend the crepes. Lacking in taste and the texture is like rubber. Whipped cream is a cheap, fake version. I’ve tried the crepes here before in previous years and I remain disappointed. They seriously need to rethink their recipe. Looking around the tables, I see a lot of crepes left half eaten on plates, giving me the impression that other people don’t like the crepes either. The waffles are okay. They don’t have any competition around them so I guess there’s no incentive to improve the quality of their crepes. I’ve also eaten better quality ice...

I was referred by someone to try this gelato. It's a formal beach stand cum bar. Elegant and nice place right on the beach. Reminded me of one of the nicer beach feeling in California. The gelato flavors are just right, it's one of the best gelatos I have had. I tried two flavors, lime and wild berries topped by fresh fruits. Splendid and worth five stars. My only suggestion is to improve on the cup...they can provide a better eating experience by providing a bigger or different cup as I was struggling keeping the fruits in the...
