The restaurant’s location is nice, but the service was slow, especially when waiting for our order to be taken. This was not at peak hours, but when the restaurant was rather empty. We ordered fish soup, which was decent, but nothing special. After that, came the veal pica pau. The meat in it was extremely tough, way tougher than meat should be. The meat was also very tasteless. We also ordered octopus salad. The lettuce looked rotten. The octopus did not taste good and was clumsily prepared. We ordered shrimp as well, and that was the best tasting thing overall, excluding the soup, to the point that we used it to add flavor to the other things we ordered. It was still pretty bad, however. Overall, the food was poorly presented, and did not look good, even the soup which was the best dish overall. We only managed to take a few bites of every dish before deciding that eating this would end with us getting sick.

I will mention that there were only 4 other tables in use when we were there, so if there were more people it might have...
Read more100 Pratus is one of the larger restaurants in Praia de Areia Branca, and has grown to be a popular choice by both the locals and travelers alike.
The wide selection of reasonably priced and generously portioned meals has people coming back more than once.
The restaurant has an inside covered outside and open air area with various table arrangements to cater for individuals, small and large groups.
On the weekends there is often live music and a great atmosphere for the family, while this draws a crowd there is often availability for walk ins due to the size of the restaurant but I would always recommend a booking to avoid any table waiting times.
The restaurant is on the promenade and has great views of the ocean, and at times you can see the river mouth...
