Considering that Mertola is not a very big place the location of the guest house is convenient if you want to walk around the village. The service was good, although no much presence during our stay. Despite this, we didn´t need anything extra, so everything was ok.||The room and bathroom were big, and cleanliness was high all around, including the common areas, being these a kitchen with facilities and a relaxing balcony area.||Additionally it has a room for disabled people, and the different access are suited for them also, what could be convenient if you are looking for an acommodation with these characteristics. ||Considering that it has a restaurant area it would be nice if the breakfast was complimentary included with...

I booked a stay this week for one night. I was very excited to discover the beautiful village of Mértola. I received a message (booking through Booking.com) with all the necessary information for check-in.||A few hours later, while I was on my way to Mértola by bus, I was contacted to cancel my reservation on Booking.com… There was probably some overbooking.||In the end, I arrived in Mértola by bus with nowhere to stay: everything had been booked elsewhere. The evening ended with a makeshift camping on a park bench.
