Review: A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Porto I recently stayed at an impressive apartment hotel in central Porto, experiencing exceptional hospitality that exceeded all my expectations. Location: The hotel is strategically located in the city center, with excellent access to public transportation. This makes it an ideal base for exploring the city and its attractions. Rooms: The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. We were provided with all the relevant equipment to ensure a comfortable stay. The bathrooms are well-appointed with good showers, and the beds are very comfortable. Each room is equipped with a TV and air conditioning, adding to the overall comfort. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The property is maintained to a very high standard. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout, which greatly contributed to the comfort of our stay. Service: The hotel staff demonstrated exceptional courtesy and were welcoming throughout our entire stay. They handled any issues that arose quickly and efficiently, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. Facilities: One of the standout features was the well-equipped work floor. It included a comfortable lounge, a fully-equipped kitchen, work tables, and high-speed internet - everything required for comfortable and productive work. Additional Comfort: The long and beautiful outdoor terrace was a wonderful addition, providing a perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Safety: We felt completely secure during our stay. The key-required system for entry to the building and rooms provided an additional layer of security that was greatly appreciated. Value for Money: Although the price wasn't specifically mentioned, I felt that the value we received certainly justified the investment. The quality of service, facilities, and location were worth every penny. In conclusion, I highly recommend this apartment hotel to anyone planning a visit to Porto. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, this place provides everything needed for a comfortable, pleasant, and enjoyable stay in this charming city. From the well-appointed rooms to the excellent facilities and prime location, every aspect of our stay was...
Read moreThere was not much availability in Porto this weekend so we ended up booking this place as it looked central and very reasonable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, this could be improved with very little extra cost to the owners.|To start, there was only one mirror in the room which was in the bathroom above the sink. This can cause problems when there are two of you trying to get ready at the same time. A small dressing table in place of the dining table in the room would've made more sense. Or even a mirror to sit on the table would've been a bonus.|Also, there was a terrible sliding door to the bathroom which only decided to work when it wanted to. Furthermore, the door completely cover the light switch when open which was a pain, certainly when the door did not decide to work.|Absence of tea / coffee making facilities or fridge; Why hotels don't have these baffles me. Somewhere to store bottle water. A cuppa first thing in the morning?|Breakfast was adequate and served in the basement where there was also a lounge and bar area. However, don't expect the bar to be open at any time. Apparently, it never is. |Staff were friendly and pleasant and provided us with bottle water when asked before we went to bed. Although we had nowhere to keep it cool.|Rooms can get noisy of you leave your windows open or in a room below the wooded stairs.|Taxi rank right outside and the main station and shopping streets a few hundred yards away, so location...
Read moreWe stayed at tithe Oporto Boutique hotel for 4 nights and found the location to be really central and handy for all the amenities. ||We arrived early and were able to leave our bags at reception and the same after check out (which is a very generous 12.30pm). ||We had a room on the top floor, yes it was a long way up those stairs bit it was good not to have anybody above us. The room was an excellent size and I like the bean bag as a fun place to sit. Other reviews have commented on the lack of mirrors but we had plenty in our room. A bracket to hold the shower hose in so you can try and shower without holding it would have been a welcome addition to the room. ||I like that there was somebody on reception 24 hours and it always felt safe. There was always a welcome smile from whoever was on reception and they were helpful on pointing out sites to visit and booking our hop on hop off bus for us. ||The location was great, close to all of the amenities. We got the train from the airport to sao bento station and then walked the q0 minutes. It is a very atwwp hill however there are roads nearby which are a little longer in distance but not as steep. ||We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. ||||Breakfast was a continental breakfast with an amazing sponge cake which has...
