I loved this place.

The kindness of the people at the reception, especially the young gentleman working the late shift, is LEGENDARY, without being cheesy or overwhelming. Seriously, he deserves 100 stars (much gratitude to him) !

I arrived late from Porto after a long day Camino walk. They were so flexible. When he saw me washing my clothes (outside), he offered to use their drying machine to dry my stuff, as it will not be ready for the morning 😊

By the way, you can check in very late (midnight) and check out is at noon (no one will kick you out in the morning 🌅 😊🥰)

The place is a large building that hosts students, but also pilgrims and tourists. It is part owned by the City I believe (or some other public entity). The interiors are gorgeous, as it used to be the home of a wealthy family. It is modern (as in renovated) and spacious. Very clean.

The bunk beds are not bad at all (not pods, but still solid with good privacy for such a structure).

They provide you towels, sheets and a light blanket. Very clean as well.

You can hand wash your clothes outside and hang them to dry.

The crowd is nice and diverse. Some pilgrims, some tourists (younger and older people). Not a party crowd or place (which is good when you want to sleep) 😊

Breakfast is simple but very decent. It is included in the price. Great coffee machine. Rest is buffet style and gives you all the nutrients you need.

Toilets and showers are functional and very acceptable for this kind of accommodations.

One thing to note is that higher level bunk beds don't have unfortunately an electric plug to charge your phone during the night. However, I was able very easily to use a plug that is in the room (6-beds). So not an issue.

There is decent space around the bunk bed to place your things.

Beach is very close by. I didn't go but saw it on the map. I think it is few minutes walk. Definitely a plus.

I felt very comfortable at this place. I strongly recommend it. It gives you space. For the price, it is fantastic value if you are walking the Camino. It is also good to be in a nice environnement for the price of an albergue....

One of the best hostel/albergue experiences on the Camino Portuguese. The interior has good vibes.

Check-in was friendly, the building is renovated and with beautiful living/social room. Rooms have enough space and are not overcrowded with beds (I was in the room with 3 bunk beds). The building has a lift. Bathrooms in the normal conditions and with warm water.

Locality is amazing - less than 5min walk from the beach and close to good restaurants.

The breakfast was typical and tasty - with fresh bread, ham, cheese, jam, butter, etc. But they also have a fancy coffee machine!

Only minus was allowing late check in - someone came in the middle of the night and woke up us with the light and noise. But still...

Big pink building in the city of Vila do Conde, this place offers cheap accommodation for Pilgrims. A room in a dorm for 18€, with bunk beds and only 4 people per room. Together with the bed comes a box for the backpack, but also pillows, duvet and towel. Communal bathroom, but also a shared kitchen and rooms for chilling, reading, and watching tv. Breakfast is included in the night, and it's served starting at 8.00. Overall a nice play for a budget stay, clean and very good value for money.

Our private room smelt musty. Wall by bed head was damp and smelly. No aircon and no fan. Very basic room facilities. Concrete walls were crumbling. Breakfast was very watered-down juice. Fruit bruised and past its best. The whole experience was overpriced. Also, just prior to arrival, the property cancelled booking. We rebooked immediately as we were notified, and the price had gone up 10 euros.
