Sadly the absolute worst dining experience I have ever had!

I got fried sardines with single piece of salad and grated carrots - on the side was rice with beans. The rice and beans were served in a pot, with what looked (and tasted) like the ricewater from the boil. Both the rice and beans were so overcooked and it tasted just, bland… I tried adding salt and pepper to the pot which did not help. The fried sardines were stale and tasteless too.

Now comes the real disappointment; Never before have I addressed an issue with any restaurant food, but I couldn’t help it. I politely informed the waiter of the inconvenience with my dish, and he went to the manager. The manager would not discount nor compensate in any other way at last, a younger, very respectful waiter came to our table, and was sorry for the situation. He too, went to the manager by his own decision, but nothing came from it apart from a foolish excuse, that they “use very little salt and pepper, because there are kids and seniors eating there”. yup, all the kids ordering the sardine dish wouldn’t want to have ‘taste’ to their rice😂 next time I “should make notice of what I prefer before ordering”. I can’t even believe it.

I recommend you to never step foot inside this...

Terrible food, waiter that couldn’t care less, Avoid at all costs!

We were served a “Sirloin” steak that was no more a sirloin steak than I am, so much fat and gristle it was impossible to cut much less chew. This was served with rice and chips, no veg, no sauce. After complaining we got a slight reduction on our bill, which we promptly paid and even left a tip despite the appalling service. We then had the waiter chase us down the street and accuse us of leaving 10 Euro short, I was so disgusted as two of us put down 50% of the bill and I put in the tip. Why give a small reduction because the food was so bad if you feel it necessary to fleece us with false allegations to make the money back.

If I could give zero...

Venho expor factos que resultaram numa experiência negativa, marcada por falhas graves na qualidade dos alimentos, incumprimento da informação constante no menu e ainda pela falta de higiene na bebida servida, deste estabelecimento.

Ao pedir uma bebida (Coca-Cola), a mesma foi servida sem gás e, para minha surpresa, continha no interior da garrafa uma borracha, o que revela falta de controlo de qualidade e higiene.

No menu apresentado pelo restaurante consta a possibilidade de servir 1/2 doses. Assim, solicitei uma dose (correspondente a 1/2 dose + 1/2 dose) de arroz de tamboril com gambas. Contudo, foi-me colocado na mesa um tacho/panela completa, que não correspondia ao pedido efetuado. Questionada a situação, foi-me respondido que afinal não serviam 1/2 doses, quando no menu tal informação estava expressamente indicada.

Para agravar, o prato de arroz de tamboril e gambas estava mal confeccionado: sem sabor, sem tempero, excessivamente aguado e claramente desajustado em qualidade relativamente ao preço praticado (18,90€ por 1/2 dose).
