La Maison de Caroline — Hotel in Alba Iulia

Lovely hospitality. The staff was kind and very friendly. They seem happy to work with Maison De Caroline. ||Unfortunately, the comfort is awful. I do not recommend the stay for more than one night because of the diversity of noises. We cannot sleep properly because of the lack of soundproof. We could hear neighbours’ steps, going to bathroom, taking shower, using the toilet, sms alerts, walking around. Just great! A really great stay at this Maison. Very clean and comfortable a cozy place. They have a very nice restaurant and bar. I had the chance to have a parking place when I arrived but there are only 3-5 places in the inside courtyard. Nice breakfast in the morning. I would suggest a coffee machine something like Saeco machines so guests can make their own coffee as the coffee in the thermos is not so good. I stopped here for a quick bite to eat at lunch time. The pasta is really good and flavourful. The cream soups are also very tasty and I'd recommend them both. The desserts that I've had were decent. The creme brûlée was good and the other cream style dessert felt a bit bland. The service was ok as well, but it could have been a tad better.
