DiaDis — Hotel in Cluj Metropolitan Area

This is the worst place I have visited. I don't even know where to start. I was there for 8 days but was planning 10-14 days. But after a week they started reminding me that on this and that date I need to be out and in general not being friendly whatsoever. After 4 or 5 days there I asked if they had laundry service and they said its 15RON which should be a little less that 4 euro. So I was told the laundry would be available the following day. The next day they asked me remind them again the next day which was on a Saturday. Then suddenly the price was 70RON and mixed up with another hotel guests laundry. So because I didn't pay they kept my and the other guest laundry hostage until Monday when me and the other guest just agreed to pay the suddenly massive bill. They were even acting like it was us who been doing wrong, not acknowledging they messed up mixing our stuff even it was given to them in separated bags. Oh and not to forget the food they serve, it made my belly for the first 2 hours every day, except the days where I had breakfast other places. Unfortunately I don't even have one positive thing to say about this place, that has actually never happened before. Do yourself a favor and stay away...

The location is close to the central station and you can easily get there by waking. Apart from that, everything is scary. First of all there is no elevator, secondly when the room was open I didn't see any air conditioner. I asked the lady who just took me to the room where the air conditioner ? , then she pointed to the window and said that it is. There was a big old style window that opened about 20 to 30 degrees and there was no mosquito net. I keep opening the window for ventilation and having dinner, then suddenly 3 or 4 insects like some kind of strange butterfly come out of the window and they are wandering around the room. I try to kill them. And some mosquitoes there too, luckily I have mosquito cream so I applied it. But I was a little...

Stayed here for a fine two weeks. I would recommend this place anytime. The hosts are caring and thoughtful people who will make you feel right at home in Cluj! With the place located just outside the busy city area but still easily reachable on walking distance you would pick a fine location.

If you came to Cluj, and you would choose another place to stay, you would miss out on the highlight of Romanian hospitality. You don't have to see any other place to know that this is your place to go, 10/10 would...
