This review is straight based on our experience with this hotel. We were welcomed by the JOYME pub manager, not by the hotel receptionist. There were 2 people together in the reception queue, the PUB manager was talking with them and in the mid talk they decided to go out to lookout of their car parking slot. The Pub manager decided to hand us the room card but with no further informational details. Therefore he just told us the room number amd handed us the blank white card. We did not have access to the wifi until the next day when we asked for it. When we went upstairs, we found out that the room was not ready and this information was not communicated to the person that was cleaning it so we had to wait one extra hour for the room to be ready. The Hotel room looked as it was newly renovated, the room had plenty of space, the bathroom was clean, the shower had plenty of space. There was a mix of shower gel and shampoo in the shower and it was plenty. There is no need to bring your own. The bed is very confortable. We had breakfast included in our accomodation. The breakfast takes place in the JOYME pub which is located next to the hotel building. On our first morning, we ordered a small plateau of cole cuts, i also ordered french fries with eggs and parmesan and my girlfried ordered benedict eggs from the breakfast menu. They brought us the cold cuts plateau and them nothing else happened, no one asked if we would like anything else or if we are waiting for anything else. So an hour and 15 passed so we decided to ask the Pub manager how long do we still have to wait. His response was “wait for what”? We explained the situation and he said that the food came out of the kitchen 30 minutes ago but he sent it back because he did not know for whom it was, without coming to ask us if it ours. It left me with a feeling that he’s very good at apologizing and less good at managing a ssituation, I also felt that he does not let the waiters do their jobs and frequently asks them what’s going on. On the secomd day breakfast I received uncooked scrambled eggs, I was told that they were cooked by an apprentice cook, which I understood but what I was wondering is the fact that no one checked the food before it came out of kitchen. Barely on the third day the breakfast was server in a timely manner and was well prepared. I do recommend the hotel for what it offers but I do not recommend the breakfast and the...
Read moreThe hotel is nice and clean just as it is described. Beds are comfortable, you can rest here, no one will bother you. It is modern and new. Our only disappointment was the breakfast for which we've had high hopes. Breakfast is a la carte in the pub next to the hotel. On the first morning the restaurant manager, not the waiters, forgot half of our order so we kept waiting for an hour or so until we asked and they realized the mistake. The second morning our scrambled eggs were raw. They changed it, of course. The third morning all was good. All in all, if you are lucky, you can have a...
Read moreIt’s a wonderful place for the price you pay for the location. It really gives you a lot. You feel like you are in a five star hotel, but it definitely is fancy I like it 10 out of 10.
The only downside is if there are no customers after 12 pm. If you take a shower you need to leave on the shower for a couple of minutes maybe even 20 minutes in order to have hot water, but it’s not a big issue.
The heating was impeccable really really good if you go in winter time, 30° you cannot stay in the room, so really good when it comes to the heating...
