My recent stay at this hotel was a complete disaster. The beds were atrocious, as if they were relics from the Middle Ages, hard and lumpy, making it impossible to get any decent sleep. I am writing this review two weeks after my stay at Hotel Central in Timișoara, and I still have excruciating back pain from the bed springs going into my spine. The air conditioning unit chirped incessantly like a deranged cricket, driving me insane throughout the night. Additionally, every 5 minutes it would make a sound that resembled a plane crashing, making it impossible to sleep.||||Adding to the inhumane living space, the toilet had a pipe with a hole in it, causing a mini explosion every time it was flushed, spraying the bathroom floor with disgusting water. Adding to the misery, the walls were so thin that I could hear every word of my neighbors' conversations (and unfortunately bowel movements too…) and every footstep in the hallway. ||||To top it all off, the hotel staff’s behavior was unacceptable. We arrived at Hotel Central at 6pm, and were told we would not have to pay parking until 9am the next morning. However, at 8:20 when we left the hotel, we found a parking ticket on our car’s windshield. After complaining to the receptionist that his colleague had provided us with faulty information, the receptionist proceeded to tell us that it was none of his business, and our fault for not fact checking his colleague. We attempted to contact a manager numerous times and never got a response. Absolutely unacceptable. ||||The two star rating is far too generous. The stay was an absolute nightmare, and I wouldn't wish a stay here on my worst enemy. Avoid this place...
Read moreDo not be deceived by the pictures, the rooms are not as they are shown here. My familly and I spent only one night here, but we definetly would not come back here. Let's start with the pluses, as I feel generous today: the location is only about 5 minutes walk from the City Center. Another plus would be the parking. It's quite spacious and you pay, it's safe and no one will tell you a thing. Also the staff are very kind and at your service.
Now for the bad parts. Brace yourselves!
The rooms are small, there was a moldy stink in ours, the bathroom light flickers like in a horror movie, also, there is a stink in there too, the walls are thin as i could perfectly hear one of my neighbours snorring clearly. The lift makes an unsetling noise as if it's about to fall. Furthermore, the bed sheets look like they haven't been washed in like forever. There was a blood stain on my girlfriend's sheet. The walls also have stains on them. Adding to all of this, the windows could not be opened, because we risked getting insects into our room, so we had to endure the heat, as the AC does a weird sound, and we turned it off. All in all, we didn't like our stay. Despite great reviews on the internet, the hotel sucks. We felt a bad energy here, and we advise you to go look some more,as there are other hotels that are cheaper and much...
Read moreMy friends and I spent a week at Central Hotel Timisoara and had a blast!|The hotel itself is in the city centre, which is a big plus, since everything is a few minutes afoot away! |The hotel rooms are very modern-looking; instead of a key, you are given a special magnetic card that needs to be placed on a special part of the door handle in order to unlock the door. The rooms are mostly double-bedded (my room had separated beds) and is very bright thanks to the big windows stretching on one side from wall to wall.|The bathroom is fully equipped, including a hair-dryer and a glass shower cabin.|Breakfast is served buffet-style, and you can choose from croissants, fruits, marmalades and eggs to olives (yes olives, I thought it was grapes, ate some and had...fun 😂 ), all sorts of beverages (fruit juices, teas, milk) and even more! We were usually outside the hotel, out and about in the town and around it, but the time we spent at the hotel was of high quality!|I don’t have anything negative to...
