Booked this place a few months ago based on the Tripadvisor ratings. Got here to Braşov with a rented car and had a hard time finding this place even with the help of Google Maps. Had to literally navigate on very narrow streets with cars parked on both sides and very often we had to make it within an inch on each side of the car! Parking was in the back of the hotel, after driving a little more on a crooked and steep street (beware you all stick shift drivers). Our room was on the 3rd floor, heavy luggage and no elevator. Room seemed adequate and clean enough and the neighborhood seemed quiet, save for a rooster's song in the morning. |Upon waking up I discovered two bites on my tummy, I believe they were not bed bugs but rather spiders, they still itch after 24+ hours. The staff is very friendly, the views are magnificent but I can only give this place two stars for the inconveniences of not having an elevator and being so crookedly far from the old center of Braşov, a city which must be visited by anyone...

Very nice! The room we stayed in was very clean and well-arranged, and the view from the room was absolutely priceless! As for the location, this is truly a matter of personal perspective. It is indeed a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, but the walk can be quite demanding, as the guesthouse is located in the Schei neighborhood, so there's some uphill walking through the streets of the area. For older people or those with limited mobility, it might be quite challenging. However, we actually love this aspect – both the neighborhood itself and the guesthouse's location within it. For us, it was a very positive feature. We've already stayed at Casa Cristina five times over the years, and we will...

This place is so clean and sparkly. You will find here very nice people, they will try and help you with every erequest you have. There is tea and coffe on the house for mornings. Please do take it to the upper terrace, it has am amazing view. Highly recomend it. Will come back here for sure durring winter, you have rooms with view to the forrest(mountain) or the city (old city), depends on your preference. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very spacious.

This is a fantastic little privately owned hotel with breakfast included! It was quiet and the view is beautiful! It is pretty far up the hill/mountain, so I definitely felt like I got my steps in getting around town and back but it is still close enough to be do-able!

Great value for money, very attentive service. Great location in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the old city center on the border of the forest. Comfortable clean rooms and a great home away from home feeling.
