Came here to ask a little about plans for our hiking trip in the region. The two people in the info center were not nice, did not seem interested in helping and actually gave us wrong information regarding public transportation. We were told that no direct bus/train are available to our destination, and that we should take some kind of tourist bus to another destination from which we'll need to take another bus. Luckily we found out in time that both a direct train and a direct bus exist to where we needed to go. The "request to change the weather" was a joke made by the employee of the place , with which we cooperated. We were given NO DETAILS WHATSOEVER regarding the Fagaras tourist information center. . Different kind of FREE maps and you receive detailed explinations,just have to be polite, to salute when you enter[at least in your own language if not in Romanian] and smile...if you smile, she smiles back and a good day is on the way :). Read moreIf you work in a tourist information and you are suppose to help tourists, then do it! My friend and I went there because we desperately needed to print our bus tickets (the bus company doesn't accept the ticket downloaded on your phone) and due to being Sunday, everything was close. We kindly asked to print them there (it was one page only) and the lady refused! Having no work to do and the printer behind her.. Instead, she sent me to a hotel to ask for the print. Unbelievable! Show a bit of empathy.. It can happen to you too......
