Nikolas Haus — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

Prison room - awful experience.

The building has no corridors and is all tiled so is very loud. We were woken up the first night by people coming back and then on the 2nd by a family checking in late. If you are in the ground floor the noise from upstairs is a lot especially with kids running around. The windows open onto a walled street so traffic noise is also loud. We left a day early after 2 nights with minimal sleep. The a/c was not working either. I raised the issues with the owner and they said I should have let them know the first night as if I knew we would be woken again on the second. The street windows are frosted so no view, the room wasn’t very clean and the bathroom...

End of 1600 house carefully renovated, with very good quality materials. My first B&B reservation that has no hidden defects: no funky smells even though it is an old house, clean and generous shower, windows that close tightly and cancel the street noise, enchanting view, lots of natural light, generous space, parking space in the yard, a cozy porch , the convenience of proximity to the old center and to the best ice ream shop in Brasov. The house has incredibly good energy - it made me linger on rather than leave for sightseeing. I will surely come...

We had such a great experience at Nikolas Haus. Although we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed how clean, cozy and silent the accomodation was. It's also quite close to the city centre, a 25 minutes walk there or a 5 minutes walk to the bus station.

My only complaint would be the shower temperature being a bit too hot even on the coldest setting, but that's honestly too trivial to take away from a 5 stars rating.

I recommend this place to anyone willing to spend the night or a small vacation in Brasov. We will definitely stay there again next...
