When I'm in Brașov, I live somewhere close to this restaurant, so we come he more often... It has never disappointed me. Second last time we arrived here very late, yet we were welcomed and served graciously with all the food we craved... mostly Romanian food, very tasty soups or I should say "ciorbe", generous portions, main course we served something light. Last night, we came again, and Eduard wecomed us to the table and was immediately ready to serve us. I ordered "supă de pui cu găluști", bringing back good old memories from my mom's cooking, and second, "Bulz cu brânză de burduf", for which I asked for extra burduf cheese. My partner ordered "Obrăjori de vită cu pure de cartofi" and we matched the food with Purcari Nocturna Chardonay. Lucian served us the food, paying always attention to anything else we wanted, making sure that our wine glasses were never empty. For desert, Eduard served each of us a decaf cappuccino. Needless to say that the atmosphere completed the harmony of our dinner. I looked around, all tables were taken and everybody was...

The restaurant located in the old historic downtown of Brasov, with a nice outdoor terrace and good food, which unfortunately employs staff without proper training and love for customer service - I will go as far as saying that their personal will not hesitate to harass you and throw mean words at you, feeling protected by the fact that businesses need employees more then they need customers in Brasov. Mostly in a restaurant with a constant touristic flow. The 2 stars are for the good food and the 3 missing stars are for being slurred at by one of there waiters for occupying a table outside on the out door terrace right by the entry attended by my service dog which is always with me, after asking permission from the manager on duty and being granted permission to occupy the seating together with my dog and guest. The approach was on my way out, after paying and tipping my waiter, where my consultant, a very sweet lady was also a victim of...

The place is near to points of cultural interests such as the First Romanian School. It has outside and inside space, possibility to hold events because there is a clear delimitation of the surroundings.

The toilets are clean with soap and dryer machine equipt.

The chairs and tables are ok. Clean.

The food was good, worthy to their name. The "Ciorbă de burtă" was good, do ask for extra garlic sauce, thank me later. Second course "Chef speciality" had a nice plating and great taste varations. Desert; traditional "Papanaș" with one of the best texture I had. The 1l juice in the offer is absolutely a winner if you are with someone.

Would have appreciated some Romanian music. Just for the atmosphere.

The personal was kind and lovely. The serving time was just right considering that you have to take a break between meals because they leave you full.

All in all satisfied, do mind to see me...

I have to say that I was disappointed. After looking for places to enjoy traditional Romanian food, the menu looked very interesting. The portions were good, but not very flavorful. I wanted to get a non-alcoholic beverage and the waiter suggested lemonade with honey. That sounded refreshing, without adding precessed sugar. When the bill came, I was shocked to see that the lemonade was charged, and separately - so was the honey! In the end, my lemonade just a touch less than my dinner. Every little thing that was brought to the table was charged extra. Hot pepper, bread, honey, all extra. And if you ask for a little Tuica, be prepared. It'll cost as much as your dinner. All in all, if you are looking for an authentic, traditional Romanian dinner, I would suggest heading in the opposite direction to restaurant Ceasu Rau. You'll enjoy a great meal at a great price, saving at least 25%.

We went twice in three days, as apparently this is the only restaurant in Brașov where service is good and food is great. Staff isn't all smiles, but they are very helpful and aware trying their best to offer whatever they can to give you a good experience. The food was just stunning. All dishes were absolutely well done, well presented and delicious. It was one of the very few places where our toddler actually ate something in Romania. The decorations for Christmas were lovely too! Music could be better, but considering all the other awful experiences we had in the country that week, that's just a minor detail.

The place is quite big with plenty of seats around - they have a terrace outside where we sat but I believe they also have the inside part. The service was kind and fast, my only criticism is that they kept trying to take my plate even though I haven’t yet finished my dessert. For the main course we’ve ordered the stuffed cabbage which was very tasty and quite a big portion. The dessert was some sort of ice cream cake with some nuts inside - it was okay but way too sweet for my taste. The prices are fair for the quality and service so I’d definitely recommend it.
