Miraj — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

Complete disappointment even if it is rated as a 4* hotel. First of all, there was a very powerful smell all throughout the hotel, meant to cover I suppose the smell in the bathrooms (very strong sewage smell). During the night there wasn’t any water at the toilet in one of the bathrooms and the shower was leaking. And also, during the night they turned off the heat and it got quite cold. It was supposed to be a maintenance error but from what I have read they had done it before. The breakfast was not buffet, personal plates for each guests and half of the food looked old, did not risk it to eat. The carpet all around was very old and dusty. The mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable, all the persons in the group had terrible back pains after.

The only good thing was the dimensions of the rooms, being very spacious, and the fact that there were 2 rooms with interconnected door, which for us, who travelled with our child and grandparents was a very nice thing.

The price is indeed low for the location of the hotel, but I would not recommend it in case you have even a small amount of expectations from the venue. Oh, and it has private parking.

I am sorry I did not read any reviews before, as I did not do the reservation, and I hope other will take the decision to go there...

I've been in this hotel many years ago, when his name was ''Alunis" and I had good memories about it, although at that time was a maximum three star hotel. Well the hotel now has changed a lot in a positive way and can be a barely four star one. This hotel has a lift and the parking is large and free (parking is a big problem in Poiana Brasov).||The room we stayed was not so big (for a four star hotel) but clean and equipped with wooden dark furniture. There is a minibar, a kettle, a small flat screen TV and a telephone. Bathroom is rather small, but all is very clean. Towels, soap, shampoo and bathrobes are provided. Something weird is the set of leaflets lying on the bed, which contain numerous and sometimes hilarious rules the client has to follow precisely. I've never see this kind of rules before and I don't want to know what kind of clients this hotel had... Anyhow, the big problem of that room is the lack of balcony. The view is great and I would be great to spend some time in the fresh air.||We didn't try the restaurant for lunch or dinner so I cannot comment it. The breakfast is OK, not so many choices but you''ll find something to eat. The staff is polite and attentive and the price is reasonable for Poiana Brasov. Overall a place to come...

We booked here an appartment for 2 nights. This appartment was huge and very clean, but it was a strange smell coming from the big bathroom. Also, despite the signs of "cleaning" of the objects in the bathrooms, I had a strange feeling that was not properly done, especially that I noticed that one of the shelves was dirty.|People at the reception desk were very nice, helpful and friendly. |The breakfast was disapointing. No pastries, very limited types of bread and average quality of the food.
