Holiday Inn St Petersburg - Theatre Square — Hotel in Сенной округ

We booked a room with a twin bed and a bunk bed but upon arrival they said that the room we booked was not available and they can provide us with a triple room.||They was honest and explain their mistake, and let us see the room before making us pay for it. We was ok with it, and agreed to stay.||||||Some things to note : ||1) There are alot of school children in this hotel and they are always running along the corridors and making alot of noise. We got knocks on our doors a few times from them as well which was really annoying||2) There is no peephole in the hotel room door and no latch on the door, making the hotel a not so secure hotel to stay in. ||3) The pillow was horrible, so soft, might as well dont sleep with it. ||We asked for 2 pillows and it was still so soft, like there was only a few feathers in the pillow.||We stayed for 3 nights, and the only reason how we could fall asleep was because we was so tired. I woke up with a stiff neck after the first night.||4) A few of their staff are very friendly, but there was a lady trainee when we arrived that looked really sulky and grumpy and did not answer our queries properly. A standarisation of customer service would be good, especially for the trainee. ||||||Good : ||1) There was a supermarket just across the road ||2) Water is not provided for in the room, however, they have hot and cold water dispensers on every level near the lift ||3) They have a chargeable washing machine and dryer at RUB150 each||4) There is a main fridge for everyone in the shared kitchen.||5) There are USB plugs for phone charging.||6) There is an elavator in the building which is quite hard to find in old buildings in St Petersburg. ||7)Overall the hotel room is big with cupboards to put your things etc. There was bedside tables, but there was no chair to seat in the room. They should put at least 1 chair with the coffee table that there was in the room||8) The staff spoke...

Fantástico! Nem pense em outro! Você achou o hotel certo!||Sou objetivo, portanto, vamos aos pontos do hotel:|1. Hotel novíssimo. Recém inaugurado (salvo engano um pouco antes da copa de 2018) os quartos e todo o hotel tem cheiro de carro novo. |2. Quarto enorme: sim, eh enorme para o padrão europeu! A cama (São duas camas de solteiro juntas, porém mal da para sentir) comporta com tranquilidade um casal e uma criança pequena, embora tivesse uma beliche no quarto que faz a festa da criançada. O edredom eh daqueles de fazer dormir até meio dia (perdemos o cafe da manhã por conta dele kkkkkk). Além disso, uma grande mesa, TV 42 polegadas, armários, muitas tomadas, toalhas muito novas! Piso liso (sem carpete!!!) e, pelo que li em algum lugar, aquecido!|3. Banheiro: grande, com um ótimo chuveiro e aquecimento de toalha.|4. Café da manhã: pago a parte (cerca de 24 reais) com tudo muito bom. Criança não paga. Vale muito a pena!|5. Área de cozinha e lava roupa: possui uma área comum com lavadora e maquina de secar roupa (cerca de 9 reais cada ficha) que eh uma mão na roda para viajar com menos roupa pela europa. O quarto não possui frigobar mas tem uma geladeira nessa área comum em que eh permitido guardar bebida e comida (com nome do hóspede). |6. Elevadores: muitos hotéis em st petersburg não possuem elevadores. Este tem (2). Ambos Zerados. |7. Recepção: moderna assim como todo o hotel. 24 horas e ótimo atendimento. |8. Restaurante: possui um bar. Mas o ponto forte eh o restaurante do hard rock café que fica ao lado do hotel. La tem Comida muito boa, souvenires da cidade e música obviamente excelente. Preço justo. |9. Diária do hotel: pagamos míseros 150 reais pela diária (em 24.08.2018) de casal + criança(obs no site do próprio hotel rola uma promoção de 30% de desconto para criancas). Hoteis similares na mesma cidade (porém mais velhos) na ordem de 400 reais. |10. Localização: fica cerca de 10 minutos a pé da estação de metrô. Andando cerca de 20 minutos (uma área da cidade muito limpa e segura, mesmo de madrugada)chega-se nas áreas mais turísticas de st petersburg como igreja de st isaac. De metrô + ônibus chega-se a peterhof (bem mais barato que o barco) e o aeroporto, de táxi, cerca de 30 minutos por 45 reais (se transportar criança, caso contrário eh mais barato chegando a 30 reais)|11. Atendimento: o ponto forte. Aí vale contar a minha estória: no momento do check in pediram que deixássemos nossos passaportes para tirar fotocópia e que depois retornariam. Já era bem tarde (mais de meia noite) e não nos devolveram e, pelo cansaço (havíamos chegado de Moscou) Também esquecemos de buscar. Só fomos lembrar dos passaportes quando estávamos na fila do aeroporto (que fica 30 minutos de táxi de distância, cerca de 45 reais usando aplicativos) embarcando para praga!!!! Quando nós demos conta já no aeroporto, O check in do voo se encerraria em 40 minutos, ou seja, não daria tempo de ir até o hotel e retornar. Liguei e falei com a atendente (maria) e com o gerente (Dimitri). Ambos falam inglês (o que não eh tão normal na Rússia). Dimitri na mesma hora nem pensou e embarcou num táxi em direção ao aeroporto! Dimitri chegou exatamente 10 minutos depois de encerrado o checkin de bagagem mas a cia aérea, vendo nosso perrengue (e como eu tinha feito o checkin online antes) segurou até o limite e embarcamos com destino a praga. Essa atitude do gerente DIMITRI demonstra com exatidão a qualidade do hotel. Nem pensem em outro. Se o seu objetivo eh um quarto limpo, confortável, bem localizado e barato, ou seja, para dormir com ótimo conforto Podem ficar tranquilamente no meininger st petersburg que eu garanto! |12. Dimitri, você salvou nossa viagem!Gostaria que essa mensagem chegasse ao conhecimento dos seus superiores para que eles saibam que saímos de st petersburg com a certeza de que escolhemos o hotel certo, e que nas demais cidades onde iremos sempre vamos buscar um hotel Meininger...

First the good:|* Huge room, plenary of storage and counter space, coat hooks and a full length mirror. |* USB charging points next to the bed|* Huge bathroom, with towel warmer and hairdryer, great water pressure|* Next door to a Hard Rock Cafe (although there’s no discount for hotel guests despite their being advertising in the hotel) |* Good transport links - tram 3 has you in the centre in about 15 mins|* Decent WiFi |* Supermarket 2 minutes walk away||Now the bad:|* The group of 70 schoolchildren loitering in the lobby or running up and down the corridors all night - one can only assume they were training for the hundred meters in wooden clogs? When I mentioned it to the receptionist she said other guests had complained and neither the security guard or teachers could do anything about it. |* The check in process - there’s a hidden “immigration registration” charge no one tells you about in advance.|* Above said children leaning over and viewing all your documents and pin during registration and receptionist reluctant to tell them to move. |* Only 1 English tv channel - some boring euronews. ||Overall the good just about out weighed the bad and in the unlikely event I’m in St Petersburg I might be tempted to stay here again if I was guaranteed there were no...
