Honestly, my heart sank the minute we walked through the buzzer door. It smelled musty and felt super sketchy. I thought for sure we had been conned. But, once we made it to the third floor and were buzzed through that door, I let out a sigh of relief. Inside, everything smelled new. New paint, new carpet, new wooden furniture. It's a very small place, less than 20 rooms I think. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly, and then very apologetic about 5 minutes later when our room door handle fell off. Eventually that was replaced, but we had dinner reservations and had to leave our room with the door open, which was a pretty uneasy feeling, but I got good vibes from her and the repairman so we left them to it. Read moreWe had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 3 nights. It's a bit strange when you arrive, the doorway is only small and the hotel entrance doesn't look enticing. The lift to the 3rd floor is only small but carries 3 people. The hotel as 8 rooms which are fabulous in size. The bathroom was great with a walk in shower. The reception area is small and the staff extremely helpful. Tea and Coffee served to your room, when you ask or they ask you. Breakfast is ordered the day before and served in your room each morning at the time requested. It's location is fabulous 5 mins from the Hermitage and Faberge museum. Plenty of good restaurants within 2 mins. Price great for centre of Moscow and would recommend it to anyone looking for...
