WHAT WE LIKED||* The Location is really good (around 3min walk to the mosque if the crowds aren't insane on the road)||||* Room standards are very comfortable and luxurious. Haven't stayed at many hotels with better and more modern rooms||||* Staff was really nice, especially the housekeeping staff (special shoutout to Muhammad Jahangeer who was incredibly helpful)||||* Great bathroom||||* Great and comfortable lobby||||WHAT WE DISLIKED||* Lifts - There are 10 elevators available but I think there is something wrong with the programming. We stayed in a hotel in Makkah with just 6 elevators, but 32 floors (instead of 14 at Valy). But we never had any lift problems at the Makkah Hotel. I think it's just a programming issue, so I would strongly recommend the management speak to Mitsubishi and get the lift programmed correctly. Basically, if someone is waiting on every floor to go down, it will only send 1 lift up, which will then stop at every single floor. Instead it should send 2-3 lifts and the load is shared between them all. Same issue when going up. This means that often the lift is full after the first 2 floors but it still stops at every floor wasting a lot of time. Good thing is you have enough lifts, so it appears to just be a software issue and the algorithms and logic needs adjusting. A hardware problem (adding more lifts) is a much tougher one to fix, but I am fairly confident this is just a software problem so you should be able to resolve it easily by speaking to the lift manufacturer.||||* Location although perfect, means that taxis can't always access the roads outside the hotel. During prayer times the roads are closed so we often had to walk quite a distance to/from the taxi||||* Breakfast options are a bit limited and charging 50 Riyal is a bit too much for what's on offer. It is definitely good enough, but not for 50 Riyal, maybe more...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible stay – the most hospitable hotel staff I’ve ever encountered
I recently stayed at Valley Al Madina in Madinah with my mum, dad, and sister, and I can honestly say it was one of the most heartwarming hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we checked in, the staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always smiling. Every time we made a request—whether it was room service or general help—it was fulfilled quickly and with genuine warmth.
The room itself was beautiful, spacious, and spotless, with a lovely view that made our stay even more serene. The bathroom was equally clean and roomy, which added to the comfort.
But what truly stood out to me was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond in a way I’ve never experienced before at any hotel. A few mornings, my sister and I missed breakfast, and when my mum mentioned it to the staff, they personally asked about us and kindly offered for her to bring food upstairs for us. That level of care and thoughtfulness is so rare. One of the lovely staff members, Abdula Ad Wardas, was especially kind—he was the one who gave my mum food to take up for us, and his warmth will always stay with us.
The hotel is also in a perfect location—just a 3-minute walk to the Prophet’s Mosque—which made everything so convenient, especially during a spiritually important trip like this one.
If I ever return to Madinah (and I truly hope I do), I would without a doubt stay at Valley Al Madina again. Over and over. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay...

I stayed at Valley Al Madina Hotel with my husband and two daughters, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel itself was clean, peaceful, and only a 3-minute walk from the Prophet’s Mosque — an ideal location for anyone visiting Madina.
But what truly made our stay so special was the incredible staff. From day one, they were warm, welcoming, and always smiling. I want to especially thank Abdula Ad Wardas and a lovely woman named WTT (I believe that’s how her name was spelled) — they were so thoughtful and sweet.
On the mornings when my daughters couldn’t wake up for breakfast, they kindly offered to let me take food upstairs for them — something I’ve never seen a hotel do before. They didn’t have to, but they did it with genuine care. One morning, when my daughters finally came downstairs for breakfast, they recognised them right away and said to me, “Omg, these are your daughters!” — it was such a sweet, wholesome moment.
They even brought over beautifully cut-up fresh fruit, specially made just for them, which touched my heart. It wasn’t just service — it felt like family. These small acts of kindness truly made our trip unforgettable.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the staff were always quick to help with anything we needed. I’ve already recommended this hotel to friends and family, and if I ever return to Madina, this is where I’ll stay again. Thank you for everything. May Allah reward...
