Fabulous hotel in a superb location with hospitable and responsive staff.
I have stayed at a few different hotels in Riyadh and can say without hesitation that the Radisson Blu in the Diplomatic Quarter of Riyadh is an exceptional place to stay.
If you want glamour, glitz, Instagram type people and the hustle and bustle of a glittery 5 star hotel, this isn’t the place for you.
If you want reliability, a warm welcome, great food, a place where you keep meeting interesting and amazing guests and a place that looks after its guests to a high standard, you should stay here.
The Radisson Blu DQ is a beautifully quiet and peaceful sanctuary for busy people to come back to after a long day working or attending conferences and meetings. The people that stay here are all mostly senior level diplomats and l professionals & business people from finance, sport and media that need high quality rooms, top quality food and no fuss. The place is impeccably kept and always welcoming:
The staff are simply wonderful and for me it’s become home from home. As a frequent traveller I can always be guaranteed a very warm welcome by the fabulous reception staff - Maha, Lujaine, Ishraq, Bayan, Abdullah, Faisal, Saad, & Badr - all of whom are brilliant and very helpful. The Concierge - Rauf & Arafat - are great and the valet staff - Naveed & AbdulRehman - are just excellent. Everyone is always at hand and nothing is to much trouble. I don’t know the names of the staff that make the rooms - but they are brilliant too - the rooms are tidied and cleaned everyday to an impeccable standard.
The entire staff across F&B are simply amazing. Every morning Akhtar, Ammar, Suraj, Bahadhur, Ayyup, Abul, Salah, Mamul, Aftab and Dexter and all the others are just brilliant. Super attentive and nothing is too much trouble.
The Head Chef Gurkan is amazing and the food on offer always exceeds expectation. Really top quality food always.
When my family and friends join me every so often, they always stay here too - all of them have had enjoyable comfortable stays here and have returned again and again…
And I keep coming back as this place is full of 5 star service…
Thank you to Ferran, Saud, Hussam & Sultan and all of those behind the scenes that I haven’t met yet - an absolute pleasure...
Read moreI was invited by the newly opened @radissonbluresidenceriyadh situated in DQ Riyadh. The hotel is beautiful and modern. A separate post for it soon, right now I’m going to show you the amazing food we had in their restaurant “larder and lounge”. They serve breakfast buffet from 6 to 11 in the morning and A La carte after that. We had our dinner there and were amazed by the professionalism of the entire staff of the hotel. The restaurant manager and sales manager were extremely sweet and helpful in choosing our dishes. We tried: Lentil soup: A traditional lentil soup cooked nicely with all the spices served with croutons. Light and nice. Caesar salad: fresh and yummy. The sauce was perfect and tasted really good. Dynamite shrimps: I love dynamite shrimps and can have them anytime of the day. Their dynamite shrimps were perfect. The batter was nice and the sauce they served with, was delicious. I liked it better than the one we get at PF. Chang’s. Australian beef rib eye: I love steaks! A good steak can make my day and a bad one can ruin it. We got our steak medium well and it tasted delicious. Juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. Served with béarnaise sauce and asparagus, it was the star of the day. 😍 Mixed grill: it consisted of lamb chops, chicken skewers, beef skewers. The meat was done perfectly. Everything tasted superb. Fettuccine: Pasta in white sauce with mushrooms and Parmesan cheese. There wasn’t a meat in the pasta but still it tasted good. Not too creamy but nice. Creme brûlée: One of the best desserts I’ve had. The presentation was stunning and the taste was so good. 😍. It’s also their speciality. Strawberry cheesecake: I’ve had better cheesecakes and theirs was okay. I’m not a fan of hotel food but @radissonbluresidenceriyadh food took my heart. 😍 I’m definitely going back for it. It’s perfect for a date night or a special occasion. A bit pricey but worth every penny. #turningTheDQBLU . #riyadh #riyadh_food #riyadhhotels #radisson #beauty #hotelsworldwide #jeddah #ksa #ksafashion #saudiarabia #saudiarabia #turningTHEDQBLU #dammam #khobar #pakistan #pakistanistreetstyle #dubai #mydubai🇦🇪...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Radisson Blu for Iftar with my family and friends, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and clean, setting the tone for a delightful evening.
The service at Radisson Blu was truly outstanding, with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs throughout the meal. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home.
One of the highlights of our visit was the variety of food options available. From traditional dishes to international cuisine, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The flavors were exquisite, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail.
One aspect of Radisson Blu that truly impressed me was the supervised playroom for children. It provided a safe and fun environment for the little ones to play while the adults enjoyed their meal in peace. It's rare to find a restaurant that caters so well to families, and this added touch made our experience even more memorable.
Overall, I cannot recommend Radisson Blu highly enough. From the cleanliness and ambiance to the exceptional service and delicious food, it exceeded all of our expectations. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or on your own, Radisson Blu is a must-visit...
