This auberge is located above Ma'am Samba's wonderful boutique in Dakar. The room was very clean with nice linens from their shop, and the bed was very comfortable. The mattress was better than mine at home! Good water pressure and hot water in the bathroom, but unfortunately the wifi wasn't working when I was there (they were actively trying to get it fixed though). They have a small covered patio area in the back where I had a good breakfast- typical French baguette and café au lait, but the bread was very good and served with locally made jam. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there was construction going on in most of the buildings around the auberge, so a lot of hammering during the day (it was very quiet at night however).
