I enjoyed my time in the Falkensteiner, Belgrade.
The room was large, comfortable and quiet. Many foreign companies and institutions are using this hotel for conferences and meetings. I think it's just the right place for that.
There is a mini bar with with plenty of water and drinks. Reasonable price. The chocolate you see in the photo was nearing it's use by date (July, and we are in June).
The airport is at about 20 minutes drive.
Some negative points:
The shower/toilets has a large transparent glass window with direct view on the room. So it's not possible to use the shower/toilets while keeping any privacy towards someone in the room. I was alone, so this wasn't an issue but it's to consider if you travel with a partner. I don't know the point of that as there is no practical or aesthetic reason to create a view between the toilet and the room.
During the check-in, the receptionist answered the phone and was talking while managing my booking. As result, I couldn't talk to her myself and I felt that she lost the focus on my own check-in. As result, I got a call an hour later from the reception asking me to come back asap with my passport as the receptionist didn't enter it in the system. My check-in experience wasn't worth 5-stars really.
I still live 5 stars as everything else went smoothly during my...
