The Palace of Serbia is an outstanding architectural and historical landmark that deserves recognition for its sheer scale, design, and cultural importance. Located in New Belgrade, it is one of the largest buildings in the region and serves as a significant administrative and government center. The structure showcases a unique Yugoslav modernist architectural style, characterized by its clean lines, extensive use of glass and concrete, and symmetrical layout.

While the building is not open for regular public tours, simply viewing it from the outside is an experience on its own. The vast open spaces, well-kept lawns, and flag-lined paths create an atmosphere of grandeur and importance. It's easy to see how this building played – and still plays – a central role in Serbian governmental operations.

The location is easily accessible and makes for a perfect photo stop if you're exploring the modern parts of Belgrade. It’s a place that not many tourists visit in-depth, but those interested in politics, history, or architecture will find it very rewarding. I highly recommend taking a moment to appreciate this monumental site, even from the exterior. It represents a chapter of history that continues to shape the...

It’s the first time in my life to watch a life military parade, on the ground. The weather is very good & sunny, & I was squished between the excited Belgrade citizens. I went very early, so I secured a good positión, close to the main stage & in front of the viewing screen. First came the kilometre long Serbian Flag, boared by young military recruits on their shoulders. Then came the ground marching soldiers, including young kids, boys & girls, possibly below 12 years old. Also super well trained troups. There’s Marine parade in the river Danube. Then came the military vehicles, more than 50 different kinds of amazing vehicles & tanks. Then airshow of fighter jets, helicopters, & parachuters. It was an overwhelming experience, despite they had confiscated my bottle of water, waited 1.5 hours at my secured spot, & watched the parade for 2 hours, under glaring sun. Thanks Serbia, the proud & not...

Pozdrav i pazite kome verujete.
