I stay here as a airline crew and decided to stay here for holiday with the family as well.||||Eden Blu experience was very welcoming. We got a upgrade to family room facing the water front. The rooms were spacious and perfect for family with kids.||||Breakfast is good. Choice of eggs, local yummy fruits and the rest of the spread will keep you full for the morning.||||Eden Blu has a nice view of the blue water, boats and yatch parked with a mountain behind, that is full of drama throughout the day. The changing island weather , low clouds, rain, sunshine wants you to keep your camera in action all the time.||||The hotel is connected to a Eden Mall, which has most of the things you will need. There is a SPAR super market to pick up things you may need for the holiday. Water, Alcohol, Snacks on the go and more.||||Just few steps more and you come to nice restaurants like Bravo and Broadwalk. ||||No holiday experience is complete without good people.||||Reception : Again a warm welcome from everyone at reception , very easy and quick in getting you to your room and always there to assist you . Margarette, Micheal Marie all were fantastic.||||Everyone working at Eden Blu is friendly, warm and ready to help. Always smiling.||||Special Mention to Hansel at concierge : He is the man of the island. We went to him to organise trips and troubled him with repetitive questions. Always smiling and calm Hansel, helped us with getting a good deal on Local car rentals and booked our day trip to lle moynne island hopping tour. Read moreThe hotel facility is perfect but the service is horrible. When I went for a breakfast, I greeted a thin waiter "Good morning!" He didn't answer, just nodded. I asked if I have to sign something or write down the order as usual. He didn't answer again, just pointed at the food. I finished my 2nd dish and he still didn't ask me for the hot beverages and egg dishes so I went to him and ask for a drink. Again he didn't answer, just nodded. My friend asked if he could make iced capucino. He didn't bother to open his mouth to tell us that he couldn't. He made annoyed face and served her a hot capucino. When we say thank you, of course, no answer, just nodded. I wondered if he was mute, but later I saw him talk to his colleagues.
My friend who stayed in another room called a receptionist to ask about the air conditioner since she set it at the lowest temperature but it was so hot that she couldn't sleep. The receptionist said she will call back. After 1 hr, no one got back to her. She went to the pool, came back and call again. This time she talked to an engineer. He said the AC system on that side is being fixed for every room and he would get back to her. ( Which was a lie because I stayed next to her room and my room AC was fine) and of course he did not get back to her. After staying in that hot room for 6 hours, she called and no one picked up so she walked to the reception and finally the manager could change the room for her.
Really horrible service with bad attitude staff. Never expect this kind of service from a 4-star hotel....
