The Boardwalk Bar & Grill — Restaurant in undefined

Very disappointed with the service by a female manager, her attitude towards us at today’s lunch was rude and unfair. She also caused other waiters to be embarrassed. 7 of us are tourists from Hong Kong, when we entered Boardwalk Bar and Restaurant, a waiter welcomed us and led us to a table, he sanitized the table before let us sit down, with serious and polite manner. After we sat down, he gave us the menus. 10 minutes later, another waiter came and started taking our orders one by one with polite manner. Suddenly a female manager came and gave order to the waiter to stop taking our orders and instructed us to move to another table which was still under cleaning without explanation. I was not happy and asked her the reason. She did not reply me and went to the entrance to welcome a group of clients, then led them to our table. The waiter explained to me on behalf of that female manager that in the morning at about 10:00 am, when this group passed through Boardwalk, the group requested them to have our table if they came for lunch. As they did not confirm to come, the restaurant did not put a reserved sign on that table. He sincerely apologized to us for this mis-arrangement and caused us this...

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and its our first time to dine here. We arrived for our 8:00 PM dinner reservation, expecting to enjoy a full meal, especially since their website clearly stated that they were open until midnight. However, from the moment we got there, things went downhill.

Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, it took around 20 minutes for any of the staff to even acknowledge us—even though we were clearly raising our hands trying to get their attention. It felt like we were being completely ignored.

Once someone finally approached us, we placed an order for drinks and a starter. However, we were never informed of the kitchen’s last order time. Because of this lack of communication, we missed the opportunity to order our main course—the main reason we chose to dine there in the first place. It was incredibly frustrating.

What made the experience even more disappointing was that we had traveled all the way from Glacis to Eden Island specifically to have dinner at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we left hungry and...
