Eden Island, Seychelles

Even though it is a wonderful place, I rated only 2 stars, because of the staff. I find them untrained for the type of tourism that Eden is supposed to have. The staff is rather rude and hostile. They don't really care about your needs. They never hurry to respond or address your problems. You can stay in line for dozen of minutes just to ask a question. We got a fined for "illegal" parking, but we did not park illegal. The security guy agreed that we should not get the fine, but he said he has orders to only unlock our boogie (golf car) unless I pay the fine. I payed the fine (since without boogie car you are dead - you are not allowed to enter with a normal car in the complex and distances are quite long) and went back the second day to talk with the security manager. He did not want to hear about it. I wasted 3 hours from my vacation with this. I feel they took advantage and there was nothing I could do. I wanted to address to authorities, but I was afraid since it was a far away country. The security company is a private one and they can basically do whatever they want. I strongly recommend to upper management of Eden Island to take a look into how the security company is behaving with the customers, or more bad reviews will...
